A Journey Forged in Loyalty
Echo’s journey with the Templars began in 2019, where he quickly earned recognition for his loyalty and leadership potential. After stepping down in 2022, he returned to the scene in April 2024 following the resignation of several key leaders, including Dawn. As covered in A Holy Return: Echo Returns to Templars Leadership, his return was not about reclaiming glory — it was about stepping in during a time of instability to help the army recover.
Working closely with Mocha, Echo began attempts to rebuild the U.S. division, which had weakened due to shifting leadership priorities. A war against the Secret Service later that summer nearly broke the army, but instead of leaving as planned, Echo doubled down. He restructured ranks, revamped the Discord, and led with a steady hand through both external pressure and internal defamation attempts — all while promoting a message of perseverance.
Echo at the “War of Vengeance” vs. Secret Service
By early 2025, the Templars had regained Major Army status, and Echo’s leadership had become impossible to ignore. Throughout 2024, the army’s founder, Xing, referred to him as an “unofficial Emperor.” In April 2025, that title became official. Echo now stands as a true Templars Emperor — not by name alone, but by action, resilience, and unwavering dedication.

Club Penguin Armies conducted an exclusive interview with Echo to learn more about his induction as a TCP leader.
Looking back at your journey in CPA, what were some defining moments that shaped you as a leader?
Defining moments I’d say post SS war. Having to handle most of an armies duties alone defined me heavily. It was a pretty bad era where finding support was hard, and I was pretty new to handling things at that scale alone
What are your goals and visions for TCP now that you’re stepping in as Emperor?
My goals is to restore respect to the name of TCP. We’ve been for too long disrespected and treated as just any other army, but we are an army of God and we will continue to fight I’m his name till we make it to the absolute top.
Do you have a message for the troops and the wider CPA community as you begin this new chapter?
We will rise from the ashes.
