OVERVIEW

In the latest months, both the Templars and Elite Guardians have been diligently at work, each creating their place in the society. Since then, the Templars have moved their focus towards perfecting their skills via practice, commemorating their seventh anniversary, and progressively advancing up the weekly Top Tens.

Meanwhile, the Elite Guardians made their official comeback to the community in January, swiftly creating headlines despite the continuing MMX tournament. Amid the tournament tumult, EGCP underwent leadership changes and created a new alliance, laying the groundwork for a fresh chapter in its legacy. On April 5, the two armies met on the battlefield for a rehearsal combat, ready to prove their strength. Let’s take a deeper look at how the battle transpired and who emerged triumphant.

The latest resurgence of EGCP’s new generation.

Cove – Tie

The battle began with the Templars entering the room first, while EGCP took a while to join their opponents. The Templars swiftly moved into an upside-down T and the Guardians, an X. Both armies lacked speed with their tactic, and TCP had several AFK troops. After some time, TCP began to cover much better. They moved into a waterfall as EGCP countered with a rake. The Templars moved into as the opposition moved into a UT. Both armies were incredibly slow, and TCP soon switched into a backwards L formation while the judges struggled to decipher EGCP’s form. The Guardians soon imitated their rivals and moved into a BL as well. This room was deemed a tie due to the poor performance from both armies.

Room 2 saw the Templars enter the room first once more. EGCP followed soon after, and both armies bombed. At this moment in the battle, the sizes were 14-11 in TCP’s favor. TCP surrounded the pool as their opponents moved into an L formation. The Templars, wasting no time, moved into a rake as the Guardians opposed with a waterfall. Judges noticed that the Guardians did much better with utilizing their size as the two armies moved into their next forms. TCP chose a UT once more as the judges struggled to decipher EGCP’s X. The Templars are showing multiple gaps in their formations, with EGCP looking much better. Sizes were now 16-12 TCP as they moved into a whirlpool with a strong defense from the Guardians. EGCP finished this room with a UT that the judges found very impressive. As a result of both armies’ similar performance, room 2 was declared a tie as well.

Pet Shop – Templars

The final room saw EGCP enter the room first, with TCP not far behind. Both armies had sped up by now, and despite their size disadvantage, the Guardians looked very big and spaced their upside-down V very well. The Templars bomb the room before settling in a V formation. EGCP followed their lead before switching into a plus. As TCP struggled to utilize their size, gaps became noticeable in EGCP’s form. The Templars raked the room before moving into their third UT as the Guardians did the same. This room went to the Templars due to their improvement and size advantage, winning them the battle.
