TBV loses war to ACP
On November 2, 2024, The Bastille Vanguard was founded by former members of the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, Vitorwin, Aucraia, and Seila. Vitorwin and Aucraia were in charge, joined by MayK after she was promoted on December 29, 2024. During this time, TBV competed in Christmas Chaos, reaching the quarterfinals before the Rebel Penguin Federation eliminated them.
On February 17, 2025, The Army of Club Penguin launched a war against TBV. This was a brief war, as TBV did not show up to most of the invasions and failed to max high enough to defend their capital, Paris. The reaction to the war was subdued, with the Vanguards making no announcements in relation to it on their Discord server. ACP showed a similar story, only making a brief announcement alongside their war declaration. Following the conclusion of the war, ACP held a medal ceremony, combining their war against TBV with their previous wars against the Templars and Doritos into a series of conflicts they have now dubbed The Evergreen Gambit Wars. In addition to this, ACP transferred servers to the multiple Small/Medium armies that lost land during these wars, except for TBV.

Aucraia returns to TBV
On January 26, 2025, an unanticipated event occurred as Aucraia announced in TBV’s Discord server that he and MayK would be retiring. Shock washed over the server members because The Bastille Vanguard was in a period of prosperity, establishing themselves on the map. In this announcement, he said that he would probably never return due to being unable to lead, despite wanting to. TBV carried on after this under the solo leadership of founder Vitorwin, facing the Candy Crusher Brawl and a war with DCP in addition to the recent war against ACP.
That was the end of the story for Aucraia until February 22, 2024, when he announced that he would return to leadership, just less active than before. Despite this, he declares that the army will become stronger, and hints that “a lot is on the way.”
It seems that his health improving has brought him back to The Bastille Vanguard for a second round of leadership. Club Penguin Armies has conducted an interview with Aucraia to find out more.
Why did you choose to rejoin TBV’s leadership?
I feel as if I never truly left. So it would make sense to rejoin, specially because it feels like TBV needs it at the moment.
Interesting, what are your plans for your second term in TBV?
Firstly, make it more active. Secondly, Vitorwin is a good leader, but solo leading is hard, and he has told me it is, so I plan to be a present leader alongside him.
Do you have any statements for the community?
🥖
It is clear that Aucraia is happy to return, with big plans to make the army more active following the war. What is in store for TBV’s future? Will there be further changes to their leadership? Will we see ACP or TBV go back to war?
