On February 5, the Army of Club Penguin declared war on the Templars of Club Penguin. This war, dubbed the Winter Antioch Campaign, came shortly after the conclusion of the Brotherly Love War between ACP and their brother allies, the Help Force. In their declaration, ACP set a term limiting the number of battles to 20, but only 14 have taken place due to TCP’s surrender on February 12. With the war score sitting at 12-1-1 in the Clovers’ favor, let us go over all the battles that have taken place in this war.

Battle 2 – Templars Invasion of Flippers

In Room 1, TCP held a size advantage of five over the Clovers. Due to this, and their faster tactics, they won the first room. The size gap closed in Room 2, and both armies took turns covering each other. Due to both armies dominating throughout the room, it was deemed a tie. Room 3 saw a similar situation, with both armies performing better with their formations at various points. This room was also a tie. As the Templars won Room 1, they successfully invaded Flippers.

Battle 4 – Templars Invasion of Ascent

The battle for Ascent proved to be the most highly contested battle of the war. In Room 1, sizes were 33-28 in ACP’s favor. Both armies performed well with their form choices, with TCP quickly changing formations after being briefly covered by ACP. Near the end of the room, TCP maintained a cleaner form. With both armies having fast speeds, this room was deemed a tie. In Room 2, ACP’s slim size advantage grew. Both armies continued to perform equally, but due to the larger size, ACP took the win. In Room 3, ACP began with a 10 penguin lead, but this gap decreased by the end. Despite the disadvantage, TCP managed to look larger due to clever form choices and took the win over ACP.

Due to the first three rooms resulting in a tie, the Judge made the decision to call for an Overtime Room. In this room, both armies performed incredibly closely, but TCP was initially credited the win for stronger formation choices towards the second half of the room. This was not the end, as Spotty published a review made by the Head Judges. Due to uncertainty, TCP was awarded the win instead of the room being a tie. As a result, the results were changed, making the battle a draw.

Battle 6 – Templars Invasion of Ice Berg

Both armies started the battles with near equal sizes of 20-19 in ACP’s favor. The judges noted that TCP had worse formations at times, and had longer periods of time without any tactics. Due to ACP’s stronger performance on all fronts, they won the first room. Both armies had worse performances going into Room 2, with sizes remaining equal at 22-22. As neither army stood out, the room was a tie. Room 3 was judged the same, with neither army standing out with a messy performance from both. Due to winning the first room, ACP successfully defended Ice Berg.

Battle 7 – Templars Invasion of caracal’s curry stand [♤]

While ACP had the size advantage in Room 1, they started the battle poorly due to moments of inactivity. Despite this, they performed better than the Templars throughout the room, having neater tactics and being more dominant. Due to this, the Clovers won Room 1. Rooms 2 and 3 were the exact same, with ACP winning thanks to larger size, better coverage, and neater forms. As they won every room, ACP successfully defended caracal’s curry stand.

Battle 11 – Templars Invasion of White House

Throughout TCP’s invasion of White House, ACP consistently maintained a max over 10 penguins higher than them. ACP maxed 25 at their peak to TCP’s 11. This size advantage let the Clovers consistently cover the Templars with larger and cleaner formations. Due to this, ACP successfully defended White House in a 3-0 victory.

Battle 12 – Templars Invasion of moon’s mojo dojo casa house [♤]

In Room 1, ACP maxed 19 while TCP maxed 14. ACP used their size advantage to cover TCP with better formations, and won the first room. In Room 2, the armies were far closer in performance, with both fluctuating throughout the room. Due to this, they tied. In Room 3, ACP took the advantage, being quicker and covering TCP more, earning the win in Room 3. Winning two out of three rooms, ACP successfully defended moon’s mojo dojo casa house.

With the war now over, it remains to be seen whether ACP will jump into yet another conflict, or take a rest first. With the Candy Crusher Brawl on the horizon, this may have been good practice for the Clovers in preparation for the new tournament. Which battle do you think was the most exciting? Do you agree with the war’s outcome? Who will ACP and TCP fight next?
