Doritos Dynasty
On February 8, 2010, Wwebestfan unknowingly permanently changed the Club Penguin armies landscape. On that fateful day, he founded the Doritos, now known widely as one of the largest and most powerful armies. Over its long and storied history, the army has found itself in many wars, however, their first was to see who would be allowed to use the acronym “DCP”. They ended up besting their enemies, the Defense of Club Penguin. Only a few weeks later, on March 2017, 2010, a historic rivalry would begin, when the Army of Club Penguin declared war upon the Doritos. Other wars from this time were against notable armies such as Elites and the Ice Warriors.
Throughout Doritos’ history, they have produced many army legends. Some of the most well-known figures in the armies community would come from DCP, including faces like Mustapha10 and 32op. Leaders such as these are who propelled DCP to be regarded as one of the greatest armies to ever engage in penguin warfare. With maxes up to and over 100 at times, there is no doubt about the army’s talent.

Anniversary Celebrations
On February 8, army legends and new troops alike gathered on Doritos’ capital, Summit, to celebrate the army’s 15th anniversary. Numerous old faces returned to the army community after having been gone for potentially years to celebrate this joyful occasion. The event saw a max of 102, propelling DCP to the #1 spot on the Top Ten. Members old and new reflected on the past 15 years and seemed hopeful for many more years of success to come.
It is uncertain what the future holds for the Doritos. However, their achievements following their reopening, including making it to the Grand Finals of Christmas Chaos XIV, as well as winning several wars recently leave many members optimistic about the army’s future.

DCP’S 15th anniversary event
To learn more about the future of the army, and the anniversary as a whole, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Doritos leader, Aisha, for an exclusive interview.
What does DCP’s Anniversary mean to you, as a leader?
As a leader, it’s a huge milestone that I’m honoured to be a part of and it was exciting to see the many people who manage to attend, including the veterans who have attended many DCP anniversaries, our allies, and visitors, and of course our eager DCP troops who were excited to be a part of such history.
What do you see for DCP in the following year?
Well the whole reason for our revival is to dominate in all aspects. In the following year, expect to see us constantly grow, battle in wars and give it our all in tournaments and to show and remind the community the power of Doritos of Club Penguin.
Over the past few days DCP has partaken in a number of wars, will this trend continue for the following year?
To conclude, it is clear that the future is bright for the Doritos. This anniversary has meant a lot to the army as a whole, and we can only expect greater things from them this year. But what do you think? What does this anniversary signal for the Doritos, and the army community? Will DCP see more success in the future? Be sure to let us know your thoughts.
