A historic rivalry has reignited as the Doritos of Club Penguin declare war on the Army of Club Penguin. Titled the “Revenge Tour 2025: Army of CP,“ this declaration outlines dishonourable conduct and intensifying tensions. This pivotal move sets the stage for a significant conflict within the Club Penguin Armies community.

History of Tensions
Originally allies when the Doritos of Club Penguin were founded including during World War V against the Night Warriors, both the DCP and the Army of Club Penguin were relatively close in the pre-CPPS era. Issues would not significantly arise until 2020 when the ACP severed ties with the DCP’s New Dawn Alliance in the midst of the Black Ice Alliance‘s conflict with them.
With many Doritos veterans feeling bitter over repeat offenses of the ACP not being loyal as an ally, they issued a pause on the brother alliance and revoked numerous DCP legends who had primarily been a part of the ACP. After numerous mudslinging, it would come to a head in the War of the Estranged Brothers. ACP would claim victory after winning all five battles.
The ceasefire agreement between the two ending their war in 2021
This would not be a definitive end to negative feelings between the two, as the progenitor to this Doritos revival—Secret Service—fought a brief but crucial war in the Summer named the July Jeopardy War, and faced off in a quasi-war during Project Conquest: Blood Bowl.
War Declaration
The DCP’s declaration of war against the ACP stems from escalating tensions and a history of unresolved conflicts. In their announcement, DCP stated the ACP must be defeated “in order to maintain justice, fairness, and honour among the Club Penguin community”. DCP also alleges ACP has been envious of their former ally’s success (and wants to dismantle DCP due to that).
Significantly, this war declaration followed a fierce semi-final clash in the Christmas Chaos tournament. During that battle, their historic rivalry was on full display, with community members eagerly anticipating the outcome. The encounter intensified the strained relationship between the armies, reigniting hostilities and paving the way for this conflict.
War Terms
The war terms between DCP and ACP
Club Penguin Armies reached out to 32op of the Doritos of Club Penguin and Roxy of the Army of Club Penguin regarding the war. Note that the interview is divided per person due to the differing questions.

There has been some animosity between your army [DCP] and ACP for quite some years—with it being noticeable during last year’s Christmas Chaos. What made DCP choose to finally declare this war?
We all knew the war was happening sooner or later. ACP has done nothing but backstabbed DCP in the CPPS era and that was never forgotten. Our original plan was to wait to see the new map changes by CPA and go from there. However, we recently got insider information suggesting that ACP was attempting to get RPF involved in the war and attempt a 2v1 since they knew the chances of them winning a 1v1 war were incredibly low. This sped things up and the decision to declare war was made just a few hours beforehand.
Would you say this is the reason for doing a mapless war rather than invading the DRACP’s current nation on the map?
For sure. We knew the coward rats at ACP were going to declare soon and the only way they would have a chance against us is to make it an ally war and we weren’t going to let that happen. We wanted a 1v1 war.
In the past, attempts to make conflicts strict two-on-one or three-on-one wars that lock out everyone else haven’t been fruitful (case in point the BSA’s attempt to do a 3v1 on ACP in the summer of 2023 before being overturned and allowing the SCA to intervene). Was DCP under the assumption administrators would rule in favor of their interpretation?
No, we weren’t. We just didn’t want this to be an ally war, we just wanted a true one on one war.
In your post, you mention the “great betrayal that took place during the Pain Wars.” In December 2016, ACP had supported DCP in the Grinch War (a theater of the greater Pain War between RPF and ACP). Can you elaborate what this betrayal was?
Our two armies were allies before the ACP broke that alliance even after what we did during the Pain Wars and attempted to destroy us in an act of betrayal. We successfully prevented their attempts and have continued to live against their attempts to eliminate our influence.

In your own words, what would you say was the ACP’s reaction to the Doritos’ declaration?
Honestly, we feel they got really impatient and rushed into this. They saw the “(on leave)” on the nicknames on both myself and my HCOM/Staff team and most likely thought it was something to take advantage of LOL. It’s really disappointing they weren’t able to handle a well prepared ACP, almost as if they were cowards in their attack.
I see. So do you believe the war was an inevitability in spite of the fact of your staff being on mass break or do you think they only did this due to the circumstance?
It does seem like the doritos attempted to leverage the situation to their advantage. Most of us did expect war to be inevitable, but only once the new map continent opened. If anything, declaring an off-map war just reflects the naivety of DCP, which unfortunately backfired for them as they’ve got themselves into a war without benefit for them.
You mention DCP was naive in making it a mapless war. Do you believe it was done as a fail-safe given the nonenforceability of no-map treaties?
It does seem like it was done as a precaution to avoid the consequences of a forced treaty. They could’ve waited two weeks for the new map continent to open, but they clearly clung to the thought that we were going to declare on them, so they declared on us instead. It just shows the impulsivity of the army, as well as how they’re scared to face us in war on the map.
Moving on, there seems to have been worries among DCP that a joint war was being planned on them. Is this true or false pretenses by their army?
The constant mention of a potential joint war is really tempting me to go along with the idea LOL. Jokes aside, we never had plans for one. Our intention was always to face them in a 1v1, but clearly, their fear is causing them to fabricate stories. Without proof, you’re just making stuff up.
Thank you for the clarification. For my final question, a common theme throughout DCP’s post has been talking about ACP supposedly betraying DCP. What does ACP have to say in response to these allegations?
They had mentioned Pain Wars in their declaration post. In all honesty, we don’t understand what they meant by that as it had taken place 10 years ago and it’s weird for them to hold a decade long grudge when no one from back then is still around, let alone when it is common knowledge that we helped DCP during those wars. Let alone that it’d be hypocritical of them since we brother allied in 2020. In any case they still hold a grudge since 2021 due to our war but they just don’t want to admit it. We would’ve been open to being neutral but clearly they have not moved from the past. Holding stuff that happened years ago against us isn’t really helping their case.
Do you have any other comments?
Learn to move on lol
As a result, the Doritos of Club Penguin’s declaration of war against the Army of Club Penguin has reignited their historic rivalry. With unresolved tensions and recent clashes fueling the conflict, this war could shape the future of the community. What will be the long-lasting impact of this war? Can these two armies ever move past their long-standing rivalry, or will this conflict deepen the divide within the community?
