Scarlet Republic Open Their Doors

On January 4 the Scarlet Republic was officially registered, marking its grand entrance into the community. With the army’s vision steeped in scarlet, this post shall uncover more about its origins and characteristics.

Just days after the return of the Elite Guardians, a new army has stepped into the spotlight. The Scarlet Republic hosted its opening event on January 12, under the leadership of Ghostt and Imvge, former members of the Army of Club Penguin. The army arranged a well-organized opening ceremony that witnessed a massive turnout of 21 troops, making a strong first impression.

Founded by veterans of the pre-2017 army community, the Republic carries a legacy of experience and passion. Moreover, the creators hope to create a strong united force from their rich history in the army scene. Thus, owing to the success of its first event and the seasoned leadership, there is high anticipation regarding its future performance and potential to become a major contender in this community.

Club Penguin Armies had the opportunity to speak with Ghostt to get a closer look at their newly established army.

What prompted you to start this army and introduce it to the community?

Well being from CP Armies back in 2010-2011 I realized one thing nowadays. A LOT has changed with armies. Things are a lot more competitive and major armies have very complex systems to keep organization. I just wanted to try something different where maybe we aim to focus on creating an entertaining environment for troops and staff and make it feel moreso like a fun activity rather than another job. I want to create a place where I can bond with my troops and in a sense create a group that feels like a family within the community.

How about the origins of your army’s name and theme? What helped you come up with this specific concept?

Honestly a lot of our theme and name was just us throwing out random names until we found some that sounded good. I ended up leaning towards Scarlet Republic because it had a nice sound to it. Then we chose the color red because we felt it was one of the better colors as far as item choices went so it gave us more creativity with the uniform ideas we were messing with. All in all we were aiming to create something that felt somewhat new and refreshing.

What are the main goals for your army and how do you plan to achieve them?

My goals are to create a army that is unique in one way or another. I want to create a place where we prioritize the feelings of each and every one of our troops and make them feel at home. To create this we have shared some ideas and it seems like we are going to try and extend our community outside of Club Penguin. I don’t want to reveal all of our ideas though so that’s all I can say for now.

Do you have any final thoughts or messages for the community?

The final message I have to share is that I wish for everyone in this community to have a good time, be a good sport, and make a lot of friends while you are here. I just think a lot of people take things here too seriously and people need to remember that this community started as a way for organized communities to interact and enjoy a fun game with each other.
