The Dark Pirate Legacy
Ninja Leader and the infamous Tide formally created the Dark Pirates of Club Penguin on April 10, 2023, following the dissolution of the Baseball Team of Club Penguin. From the beginning, their journey featured both hurdles and accomplishments. DPC merged with Special Weapons and Tactics in August 2023, following a disastrous defeat to the Penguins of Madagascar. The army made its first recovery in March 2024 but suffered another major blow after losing a conflict against the Winged Hussars. This setback motivated Ninja Leader to join the Secret Service, resulting in the Dark Pirates’ second shutdown.

After a six-month hiatus, the Dark Pirates resurfaced on December 27, 2024, led by Shrekkks and several previous leaders, including founders Ninja Leader and Tide. Their rebirth event peaked at 15 penguins online, officially kicking off their third generation. The next day, on December 28, DPC declared their first act of diplomacy: the resumption of their partnership with SWAT. This alliance, which had ended in May 2024 owing to disagreements, was reborn with hope. DefenderTide and SWAT leader Kyle104 led the charge, sharing a vision of mutual growth and supremacy in the army community. Both commanders were confident that this union would strengthen their armies and pave the way for a bright future.

Rise of a New Captain
Amidst a period of transformation, the Dark Pirates of Club Penguin welcomed a new commander to their ranks: the distinguished Yellow Typer. Against this backdrop, the Yellow Typer rose to popularity among the Dark Pirates. Their path began long before the resurrection, with notable stints in several armies. After joining the Secret Service, Yellow Typer became well-known for its recruitment skills and active involvement. They eventually joined the People’s Imperial Confederation, where they worked as a staff member and organized VC-led events, refining their leadership abilities.

YellowTyper eventually took on the daunting task of establishing their army, the Fire Vikings. While the army was briefly successful, it eventually disbanded, prompting Yellow Typer to merge with the Dark Pirates. They immediately established themselves as indispensable members of the High Command, impressing the leadership with their dedication and abilities. Ninja Leader, the founder of DPC, noticed Yellow Typer’s talent and elevated them to the rank of leader, providing them with the task of leading the army into its third generation.
The Dark Pirates sought to build on their rich history, overcome obstacles, and reach new heights. The rebirth event and alliance with SWAT signalled the start of a promising era for the Pirates, paving the way for a renaissance in the CPA community. With many events planned for January 2025 and a reinvigorated leadership team, the Dark Pirates were ready to make the waves again.

What inspired you to lead the Dark Pirates?
After I merged into Dark Pirates, I saw that they had good advisor plus good leadership and besides this can help me get my experience with leading up.
How will your past experiences shape your leadership?
I already have experience as a leader because I lead FV. Then I also have staff experience by being a staff member in PIC when I joined them. So now I can make my leading experience better by leading a good army like DPC and also I will try to make DPC 3rd gen the best gen.
What makes this generation of DPC unique?
The new leadership of this gen, also with the troops here. In this gen, we had Tide as a leader and we have shrekkks. We also have good advisors to help fill in the missing peaces we lack. So this will be a w gen for sure.
How will you ensure the army’s long-term success?
Me and Shrekkks knows how to work together good as we did in FV. We will keep our recruiting and registration going and we will also make good alliances with other armies that are offering to be on our side. We won’t fail Ninja leader.
With YellowTyper at the helm, the Dark Pirates are ready to embark on a daring new chapter, full of new ambition and strategic vision.
