Designed by Master DS
Today, December 28, the community gathered on Club Penguin Armies: Battleground for our seasonal Winter Soirée, hosted by the Community Committee. The Gala counted with fun activities and an award ceremony afterward. After some days of voting, Club Penguin Armies is excited to reveal the results of the 2024 Winter Awards!
WINTER AWARDS
BIGGEST ARMY
First place: Doritos of Club Penguin (64 votes)
Second place: Army of Club Penguin (62 votes)
Third place: Rebel Penguin Federation (59 votes)
If you asked anyone for their predictions of 2024 last year, 1 thing that no one would have expected is the unexpected arrival and rise of the Doritos of Club Penguin. Since reviving and re-entering the community, they have taken the army world by storm. Their revival event alone saw over 70 penguins turn up in great style to welcome the army back into the community. Many thought they could not maintain these numbers and yet they continued to prove everyone wrong boasting 82 members during their battle against RPF in the Christmas Chaos tournament. Undoubtedly, they have become the biggest army in CPA today and hope to continue this great form into the new year.

BEST MAJOR ARMY LEADER
First place: Link3000 (32 votes)
Second place: Ugly (31 votes)
Third place: Bestpenguin (27 votes)
The one person that has surprised everyone this year has been Link3000. In what could be considered a quieter year for the Rebel Penguin Federation, Link continued to show his tactical genius and great leadership qualities time and time again from wars to tournaments. Despite his back being against the wall and being underestimated once again, he continued to surprise people bringing the Christmas Chaos trophy to his army, adding yet another trophy to his already bloated cabinet. It’s for these reasons and the impact that Link3000 has had that he won the award for the best major army leader

BEST small/medium ARMY LEADER
First place: Scars (41 votes)
Second place: Ryebread (38 votes)
Third place: Shinzo (33 votes)

most tactical army
First place: Rebel Penguin Federation (81 votes)
Second place: Army of Club Penguin (66 votes)
Third place: Doritos of Club Penguin (64 votes)
The award for the most tactical army is certainly a prestigious award for armies to win. Winning the award shows that your army has surpassed its enemies in great fashion, using strategy and skill to dominate battles. The Rebel Penguin Federation has certainly surpassed expectations this year. While it has been a quieter year in comparison to previous years for the Rebels, they have managed to display their tactical intelligence and giving their army the advantage in every battle they fight in. Whilst winning the war against Secret Service was great for the army, nothing can top their unexpected Christmas Chaos XIV win. Their tactical genius was put on display as they showed none come close to their speed, tactics, and great preparation for each and every battle.

most achieved
First place: Ugly (74 votes)
Second place: JoelFreak & Link3000 (67 votes)
Third place: Shinzo (19 votes)
Leaders come and go, but only a few leave a lasting impression, whether they lead for a short or long time. Their impact on the community is immense. The individuals awarded Most Achieved continue to shape the community, express strong opinions, and fight for what is right whether for the community or their own army. Ugly has proven throughout his leadership that his voice is heard, whether through wars, tournaments, or creating competition among armies. He has showcased his army’s strength with continued success, consistently placing number one and winning tournaments like Project Conquest Blood Bowl, while pushing his army to new limits.
– Mare
best higher command
First place: Kira (46 votes)
Second place: LittySkitty (37 votes)
Third place: Diwix (36 votes)
I first came across the existence of Kira many months ago during Secret Service, and I must say she has grown so much in every single aspect. She used to be the lurking queen, but now, she has been trained very well. It shows in several aspects including engaging with the community in and out of Doritos, recruiting and getting an insane amount of new Dorito troops accounts on CPAB. She always completes her duties extremely well while going above and beyond. Kira is definitely a reliable HCOM member, and we all cannot wait to watch her grow even more and become a great future leader. The whole of our army are extremely proud of her to be a true representation of the Doritos family and our High Command.
– Aisha
biggest retirement
First place: Ugly (85 votes)
Second place: Sidie9 (30 votes)
Third place: Dino (27 votes)
As new faces come, old ones are bound to leave and create lasting impressions within the community. Over the winter, Ugly, now the former leader of the Army of Club Penguin, decided to retire, leaving an unforgettable mark. Throughout his time, Ugly became known for his competitive nature and strong voice. He was highly respected not only within his own army for his continuous hard work on the battleground but also for helping create strategic moves to support his army. These strategic skills were also evident during his win in Project Conquest: Blood Bowl. Ugly inspired change within ACP, on the outside he seemed quiet in comparison to others yet on the inside, his creativity led to new initiatives being created within his army which will not only leave a mark on the army but will remembered for years to come. Thus, Ugly’s retirement will leave a lasting mark on the army and the community.
– Mare
biggest rise
First place: Doritos of Club Penguin (73 votes)
Second place: Army of Club Penguin (43 votes)
Third place: Rebel Penguin Federation (40 votes)
Without a doubt, the Doritos have made their mark in the community once more – in less than two months of reopening. Their rise in Top Ten placements and high size averages in weekly events exemplify their dedication and efforts. During Christmas Chaos XIV, the Doritos were fundamental in providing good clashes for the community to witness, especially the astounding Grand Finals against RPF. The Doritos surely rose to prominence and continue to impact CPA with their huge influence across the community.

best conflict
First place: Autumn Tundra War: RPF vs. SS (90 votes)
Second place: War of Vengeance: TCP vs. SS (64 votes)
Third place: The War of F-ing Around: EGCP vs. WH (31 votes)
On September 14, the Rebel Penguin Federation officially declared war on the Secret Service. The declaration stemmed from concerns over the Secret Service’s recent initiatives to bolster ties with other armies, sparking speculation about a potential alliance-driven conflict. The war lasted for a month and ten days, and ended in a surprising 44-0 victory score in favor of the Rebels, with the Service agreeing to surrender. Without a doubt, this is a war to remember.

most controversial moment
First place: SS shuts down, DCP reopens (65 votes)
Second place: EGCP shuts down after leadership coup and controversy (58 votes)
Third place: RPF declares war on SS; Service releases accusations (47 votes)
And here we go to the most controversial moment! When it comes to controversy, that is my department, so I know the SS exodus was a very good one. Former SS Director Aisha revealed that internal conflicts within the Secret Service leadership led to their decision to transition to the Doritos of Club Penguin. The leadership sought permission from DCP legends for a revival, which was approved after discussions and a vote, with plans to announce the transition after the SS’s fourth-anniversary event. Tensions escalated when the SS leadership discovered an alleged plot by the Legends of the Service to conspire against them, including an attempt to recruit Mark, a former Rebel Alliance Commando leader, to take over the SS — a move not supported by the Service’s creator. Feeling under attack, the SS leadership expedited their move to the DCP Discord server on November 3, ahead of schedule. The SS Discord server was subsequently defaced, deleting the original announcement about the transition. In response, DCP released an official return post and clarification statement to address the controversy.

BEST MEME ARMY
First place: Scars of Club Penguin (98 votes)
Second place: Church of Aurora (51 votes)
Third place: Lawyers of Club Penguin (45 votes)
The army community can be hectic and extremely serious, causing individuals to forget that, at the end of the day, this is just a game. Meme armies serve as a reminder of the importance of enjoying our time here and that not everything has to be taken seriously, it’s okay to step back sometimes. The Scars of Club Penguin exemplified this by showing the community that things don’t always have to be so serious, yet can still be part of important events. For instance, the Scars of CP were consistently present in the Top Ten and even participated in tournaments like Project Conquest: Blood Bowl. While still achieving these things, the army created an atmosphere of comfort and joy, embracing humor within the community and the army itself.
– Mare
BEST writer
First place: Diwix (66 votes)
Second place: FatChicken (61 votes)
Third place: MtJordan (31 votes)
On July 12, Diwix officially joined the team as a Reporter-in-Training. Nonetheless, it was in October that Diwix started to work relentlessly more than ever. This led to his first placement in CPA’s monthly Top Ten Reporters ranking, as he wrote 10 posts, also having an average score of 9,56. Because of that, Diwix attained a well-deserved promotion to Senior Reporter that month and, most recently, a promotion to Associate Editor. Because of his efforts in October, he was announced as our Reporter of the Month; and now, we are happy to award him as our best writer.

POST OF THE WINTER
First place: “2024: The Rise of Club Penguin Armies?”, written by Coolguy & “Undercover Troop: The Multilogger”, written by FatChicken (69 votes)
Second place: “Club Penguin Journey: Controversies, Closure, and Continuation”, written by Edu14463 & Mare (42 votes)
Third place: “Do Army Leaders Matter?”, written by Fun X Time (31 votes)
Club Penguin Armies Reporting Department consistently delivers entertainment of quality, reliable news, and reflexive editorials to our community. The most impactful recent posts truly showcase the quality of CPA’s media. Coolguy, as usual, delivers a deep opinion piece consisting of an analysis of 2024 so far, and how armies are surprisingly more alive nowadays. On the other hand, Chicken debuted in the column Undercover Troop and provoked great reactions in the community as we all laughed at how armies reacted to his alt account. Truly, these posts have made their mark.
– Edu14463
funniest post
First place: “Top Ten Most Delayed Top Ten Armies”, written by Shinzo (76 votes)
Second place: “Totally Legit News”, written by Jo (61 votes)
Third place: “Who Would YOU Vote For President?”, written by Scars (48 votes)
Apart from serious news and editorials, CPA also wishes to provide fun posts and satires to entertain our readers. Fortunately, we have seen an increase in the number of satires written by our reporters, something that displays our team’s creativity and freedom to write not only objective news reports. In a tough vote, the post that was awarded as the funniest was written by Shinzo – a satire about the Top Ten most delayed Top Ten posts released, something the community seems to utterly despise.

BEST GRAPHIC DESIGNER
First place: Master DS (88 votes)

Master DS’ creativity and dedication never cease to amaze us. Her stunning thumbnails, striking trophies, and eye-catching graphics consistently elevate the visual identity of CPA to new heights. BEST judge
First place: T_T (97 votes)
Second place: Mocha (60 votes)
Third place: Zenishira & Flypin1 (28 votes)
Without a doubt, T_T is one of CPAJ’s most ever active judges. Having joined our team just this past August, he has already judged over 100 battles in just a few short months — a remarkable feat that speaks volumes about his dedication, commitment, and passion for ensuring fairness and quality in every match. What’s even more impressive is that he actively judges across all three time zones, often waking up early or staying up late just to make sure he’s there when needed. But T_T’s contributions extend far beyond just numbers. He brings an exceptional level of attention to detail, impartiality, and enthusiasm that elevates the entire judging process. Whether he’s the first to sign up for battles or volunteering to write detailed and insightful summaries, T_T’s presence is always a driving force in keeping things running smoothly. For his outstanding contributions and tireless commitment, it is with great pride that we award T_T the title of Best Judge. Congratulations, T_T, and thank you for everything you do!

BEST moderator
First place: Bestpenguin (86 votes)
Second place: FatChicken (65 votes)
Third place: Jojo Teri (47 votes)
The best moderator award was given to bestpenguin! Bestpenguin became a moderator around the end of August, and since joining the moderator department he has been doing amazingly well with his duties and balancing it greatly, even with huge exams and leading a major army at the same time. He spreads peace and joy within CPA and it would not be the same without him, which is the main reason why him winning this award wasn’t a huge surprise to me, along with others in the community because of how loving his soul is, congratulations BP!
– Aisha
BEST top ten committee member
First place: Litt7 (56 votes)
Second place: Ugly (55 votes)
Third place: Zenishira (42 votes)
Despite not being on this team for a very long time compared to other Top Ten Committee Members, Litt has been an integral and vital member of the team, and it is very exciting to see his work recognized to this degree. He is someone who always has a positive attitude towards the work he has to do and is willing to lend a helping hand when needed. The Top Ten Committee has been benefiting a lot from his work ethic and we are definitely grateful to have him on board. Massive congratulations to him for this achievement!
– Link3000

cOMMUNITY SWEETHEART
First place: Elsa (91 votes)
Second place: Bestpenguin (52 votes)
Third place: Mocha (37 votes)
The army community often deals with chaos and a variety of individuals holding different opinions, making it difficult to find consensus. The competitive nature of armies can sometimes foster negativity. However, the Community Sweetheart stands out as someone who is consistently kind to everyone, demonstrating the importance of showing kindness to others regardless of their backgrounds. Congratulations, Elsa!
– Mare
outspoken community member
First place: FatChicken (47 votes)
Second place: Logical (46 votes)
Third place: Aurora (38 votes)
The outspoken community member award is new to the winter awards, giving outspoken members of the community a chance to be recognized for their input and contributions to the community. Fatchicken has undoubtedly been unafraid to air his thoughts, feelings, and beliefs whether it be in his own army or in CPA’s community chat. It could be said that his outspoken nature has made him an influential figure within the community this year, making his presence known to everyone while also pushing other armies to the limits with his army, ACP.
– Coolguy
In conclusion, we are very glad to celebrate a successful Winter in Club Penguin Armies with all of you. Congratulations to all of the winners of the Winter Awards 2024, and also to all of those who were nominated. With the year almost coming to an end, we must now ponder how much the community will change in the next months until the next Summer Awards.
Additionally, we would like to thank Dino for designing these beautiful trophies from scratch and swiftly providing all of them on time. Furthermore, none of this would have been possible without the hard work of the Community Committee Heads Frickle and Zooy, the Community Committee team, especially the Little Elves board, Elsa, Lemur, Spotty, Aleksandr, Ryebread, and Berlim, and Chief Executive Producers Coolguy and Mare. A special shoutout to Kiltanon, and Ayeeti for assisting in the VC during the ceremony. Thank you all for your hard work.
