People’s Imperial Confederation leader Caitlin retired from the army, being the fourth to do so in the last month. Let us delve into the details of this retirement.
Caitlin joined her first army, Doritos of Club Penguin, near the end of 2019. Not long after that, she moved her sights to the Dark Warriors. She remained with them, entering their High Command before their closure in late 2020, when she moved on to a staff position with the Army of Club Penguin. Between 2021 and 2023, Caitlin transitioned between various armies, including Special Weapons and Tactics, the Secret Service, and the Island Invaders, before settling down with the People’s Imperial Confederation. Starting in their High Command, she was promoted to leader on August 21, shortly after PIC ended their war against the Help Force.
On November 11, Caitlin made a succinct announcement in PIC’s server to confirm her departure from leadership. This followed the retirement of her fellow leaders, Alucard, Jojo Teri, and Snaqe a month prior, which led to the army’s brief hiatus and several Top Ten absences.
Despite the army’s decline in recent months, they recently filled two of the leadership positions with Scars and 54x, after they merged Scars of Club Penguin into PIC. Maxing 20 in their debut event as Commanders-in-Chief, it seemed like we would be seeing more activity from them soon. Caitlin’s retirement shows that the changes may not be over yet.
Club Penguin Armies contacted Caitlin to find out the reasoning behind her retirement.
Why did you retire?
Oh well, to be honest. I quite frankly didn’t want to make a fuss. I originally was meant to retire around the same time as Alu Jojo and Kobi; however, I didn’t and stayed on to see how the merger would go and retired recently. In terms of me making any comments or answering any questions about my retirement, this statement is as far as I will go. PIC was a good part of my army journey, and there were definitely some fun times; however, I do not necessarily agree with the direction it went in; however, certain factors could not be helped.
Caitlin declined to answer any further questions.
It appears that there are mixed feelings surrounding Caitlin’s departure, but she carries with her the positive memories of her time with the army. Will there be any more shakeups among PIC’s leadership? Where will we see Caitlin take her army career next? Will this affect PIC’s return from hiatus?
