After winning their recent war, the Rebel Alliance Commando announced its merger into the Special Weapons and Tactics. We went and took a look at what led to this sudden occurence.
On October 11 the Rebel Alliance Commando re-opened its doors after being gone for nearly seven years. They officially made their comeback when RACP leaders Mark0600 and Brownpen separated ways with the Templars. It is important to note that they quickly developed an alliance with the Special Weapons and Tactics the next day. Soon after, RACP had a war declared upon them by the Phantom Republic -though, this lasted for only 10 battles when one of the armies prematurely surrendered.
On November 2, after a few intense battles, the war ended following a surrender from the Phantoms. This left the Commandos to celebrate their win as the final war score was 8-0-2 in their favor. Despite being less than a month old, the Rebels announced their merger into SWAT the next evening. In their statement, they remarked that they made this decision due to “SWAT’s unmatched help” in their recent conflict.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Mark0600 to ask about the details of their merger.
The Rebel Alliance was doing pretty well; What led to your merge into the Special Weapons and Tactics?
RACP changed from a CPPS army into a seasonal war army under my leadership, the four main reasons to this is the fact that we had 7 leaders in total, that’s way too much for a long lasting army, second is that none of us has enough time to make this long lasting, the third one is the lack of lack recruits, in 2024, making a long lasting major army out of nothing without any veterans is next to impossible, and since RACP’s last shutdown was in 2019, all of it’s original veterans retired from cpa, the last and most important one is that RACP has had a flawless history, having been in over 6 wars in total (the PRCP war included) it has never lost a single one since its founding in 2017, running it as an official long lasting army is risky, due to the fact that most of the RACP staff had things coming up irl or in their cpa career (kyle104 retireing from cpa for example), RACP was a fun run, everyone who had participated in the war on our side said that it was probably the most fun they had in a while, the vcs, the jokes, the victories all came up to probably the most fun war I’ve ever been in my 8 years of cpa.
Were there any goals that you have been able to achieve during your time in the Rebel Alliance?
RACP’s main goal was for us to have fun, it delivered.
What would you say is your most memorable moment during your time there?
The first victory againts the phantoms was probably the most hard fought battle, all of the tcp regular attendees were there on their side while we only had 3 allied troops, we sweeped 3-0.
Do you have any plans for the future? Will we see the Rebel Alliance back?
RACP is coming back in 2 years, our return will be legendary.
It looks like Mark and the other leaders had quite some reasons for their sudden merge. After completing the main goal, they seem to be all done for now. However, we must not forget his promise to return in two years. What do you think about this sudden merger? How will this benefit SWAT? Will we actually see a return of RACP in 2026?
Noa
