Welcome to What’s Up CPA, the post where we take a look at some of the recent conversations within Community Chat. Recently, the community has seen several new armies enter the community, preparations for Christmas Chaos begin and many dramatic moments take place. Let us take a look at some of the conversations that have recently taken place.
What’s up CPA?! We are back with another edition of What’s Up CPA. Within the past month, the community has witnessed multiple armies enter the community, multiple armies shut down and a lot of drama occur. With the Christmas Chaos soon approaching, there is sure to be a lot more on the horizon. With that said, let us get into what is currently being discussed in Club Penguin Armies.
An interesting talking point discussed following the release of ‘Leaving It All Behind: Let Them Remember‘ was regarding what community members leave behind when they depart. Eden commented on this, quoting FatChicken‘s interview in the post. While not everyone may have the same opinion as Eden, he poses an interesting point. Over the years, people have left the community somewhat scarred.
There are few people in CPA with an absolutely clean history. Arguably, no one within CPA is respected by everyone. Someone will always be hated by someone else for whatever reason. As for a “legacy”, there has been less of an emphasis on legacy in comparison to OG CPA. Yet, leaving a legacy behind is still important for a lot of people, with some being able to cement a legacy that is remembered long after they have gone. A recent example of this is Xing, like Eden said. Despite whatever may have happened since, his legacy is still there and remains a big part of the community.
One of the most talked about topics within society has been the American election which is taking place. While the topic may be a controversial one, people within CPA have fearlessly stated where they stand on the topic while having discussions about the election which have, thankfully, not led to a blood bath. CPA Chief Executive Producer, Mare is just one person who has stated their opinions on the elections. However, unlike most Americans, Mare has opted to go rogue and support Scars, a member of the army community. Scars is most known for leading the army Scars, as well as being a public figure within the SM community.
The head of an organisation openly supporting a figure like Scars is heavily controversial. While Zooy stated that Scars would bring freedom to America, it is believed that he would support the destruction of CPA. Previously, he has said that Mare is a multilogger and a hacker. If this is true, why would she endorse him? Perhaps both of these figures are working together to corrupt CPA from the inside and out…if so, the community is truly doomed.
One hot topic within the community has been the revival of the Doritos of Club Penguin as well as the Secret Service‘s exodus. Recently, Aisha, Joel and Logical, Secret Service Leaders, revived the Doritos after gaining permission from the army’s Legends. However, alongside the revival, the Secret Service’s Discord server was defaced. Ultimately, this created great controversy regarding the Doritos’ revival.
Even though there is controversy surrounding its revival, the community’s opinion has been split. Dino referred to the fact that some people have tried to claim the revival of the Doritos is illegitimate. However, the revival was blessed by Legends. Additionally, many veterans continue to join the army. This gives the army even more legitimacy and traction, helping them to rebuild the Doritos. Yet, one question remains. Will this DCP be able to outlive the generation before it and become a success? Many community members have said that the actions taken within SS have tainted Doritos’ return but the historic army aims to prove the doubters wrong.
FatChicken admits that he is not relevant because he does not have a Wiki page. I do not know whether to joke about this or cry for him. It is clear that Chicken has a different coping mechanism than others and is pretending not to be phased by not having a Wiki page written for him. Yet, perhaps that will all change soon enough. His recent stint has seen him return to the community by entering the Army of Club Penguin‘s High Command. Could we see ACP rebranding to Fatties of CP soon?
The FatChicken hate seems to be getting stronger by the day. It seems like he now has a gang of people against him, seemingly including Silverburg and Mare. However, the Fatties of CP have a newfound ally in Sweater. The People’s Imperial Confederation‘s Chairman has finally squeezed out of his chair to come to the aid of FatChicken. He will not be alone in this either as others have fearlessly come out and unveiled their true selves. Yet, with the Fatties and the Anti-Fatties gathering in the masses, the community is about to see a big clash which can only end with one side coming out on top. Will the fatties win or will the haters celebrate by playing Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Physical’ on their boombox? (For all the Zoomers and Alphas, a boombox is a thing people would generally listen to actual music on, not heavily autotuned shit).
It seems the community is going wild right now, from the political discussion to the Fatties of CP. All jokes aside, the community seems to be heading into Christmas at an all-time high with activity and maxes soaring. And that is what’s up CPA! Do you believe that this activity will continue? Will the Doritos’ revival be a success? Can Mare’s plot to take down CPA from the inside be proved? Will this post be taken down five seconds after being posted for revealing their secrets?
