In an unanticipated development, the Secret Service witnessed a mass exodus this week, followed by the revival of the legendary Doritos of Club Penguin by their leaders. This happened after tensions within the army’s ranks started to rise. Join us as we delve into the exact sequence of events that led to this.
Mere weeks ago, the Secret Service thrived, maintaining a solid position within the Top 3 Armies of the Month. They looked forward to celebrating their 4th anniversary, with an event planned for November 3, while enjoying great success in the recent Blood Bowl tournament. Shockingly, the leadership departed from SS and revived the Doritos of Club Penguin.
SUCCESSES OF THE Secret SERVICE
Rewinding the clock to July of this year, the Secret Service returned with a bang. Under the leadership of TD999, JoelFreak, and Bscharbach2, the army rapidly gained members achieving a max of 41. This was an outline for the outstanding triumphs to come. The next months saw the Agents emerge victorious against the Templars in The War of Vengeance. That same month, they obtained first-place positions in some Top Tens. They additionally peaked at a massive 64 maximum size in the celebration event for winning that war.
One of the more recent notable achievements of the Service was their second-place finish in the Blood Bowl. They also managed to claim victory in the recent Tropical Rumble held by the CP Army League. These successes made up for one of the very few upsets of SS, The Autumn Tundra War. Besides their loss against the Rebel Penguin Federation, the Secret Service has mostly managed to keep a squeaky-clean record.
recent issues
Everything was going swell for the Agents, so what happened? Former SS Director, Aisha revealed their side of the story in an announcement in the Service Discord server. According to her, the Secret Service leadership approached several Doritos of Club Penguin legends, seeking revival permission. This was due to an internal conflict between the current leadership and former SS leaders/legends. Following a debate and a vote, the Doritos legends concluded that they would permit a revive. A plan was formulated where they were to announce the transition to DCP after the fourth Secret Service anniversary event.
Disaster struck when the SS leadership was informed of an alleged plot by Legends of the Service to conspire against them. Ostensibly, they had attempted to recruit Mark, former leader of the Rebel Alliance Commando, to take over the SS. Notably, the creator of the Secret Service did not endorse this coup.
Feeling blatantly attacked, the leadership of the Agents decided to expedite the move to the Doritos Discord server on November 3, before the SS anniversary event. The Secret Service Discord server was also defaced after the release of this announcement. Although the ensuing deface deleted the initial message (pictured below), DCP released an official return post on their website alongside a clarification statement.
According to their announcements channel, these events will also lead to the closure of the Secret Service following its 4th Anniversary event this Saturday.
DORITOS: BACK FROM THE DEAD
Following this intense chain of events, the Doritos officially began operations under the same leadership that initially directed the Secret Service. With the leaders hoping to build on the army’s legacy, the community eagerly awaits to see if they will thrive. As of late, the Doritos has already seen an impactful start, with over 70 penguins attending their revival event. While this first event seems promising, many say that it remains to be seen whether or not they will keep this up.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to JoelFreak for an exclusive interview regarding the revival of the Doritos.
What are your goals for this new generation of the Doritos of Club Penguin?
We would like to become an unrivalled superpower, winning every trophy, every war, having fun while doing it. We aim to build on the legacy DCP has and make this generation better than all previous ones.
Why change from SS to DCP if it is seemingly the same members?
SS and DCP are different. The 3 leaders left after being dissatisfied with some things internally, and people followed us to doritos.
Some people in the community feel dissatisfied with this new generation of DCP, feeling as if it is illegitimate; do you have anything to say to them?
I’d say, if they feel it is illegitimate and they do not support it, then they were never a loyal ‘dcp veteran’ as they claim. The legends had the say on this revival, they granted us the permission. Doritos are about to do great things, you will see these great things at our opening event. Hopefully their opinions change then.
Where do you see this generation of DCP in 6 months?
I see Doritos as the #1 army every week. I see us winning every trophy available to us, I have very big dreams with DCP. We have an amazing staff team, awesome troops, the sky is the limit.
The newfound Doritos are optimistic about the future and have clear goals to dominate the community. They challenge all that are skeptical to wait for and see their success. The leadership labels unsupportive veterans as “disloyal,” emphasizing that DCP legends voted in favor of this revival.
We also reached out to TD999 for a statement regarding the SS side of the story but were told that they have nothing to say.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, it is clear that the Secret Service was a force to be reckoned with, and their transition into the Doritos of Club Penguin will only bolster this fact. Although indeed an upsetting loss of one of the strongest armies of the CPPS era, we may very well be looking at a new generation of dominance instilled by the DCP. What do you think about the revival of the Doritos? Will this be the beginning of a new dynasty or simply another failed revival consigned to the history books?
