Our dearest Community Committee Head, Aubz, is a well-known person in the modern army community. However, her performance in the roles she possesses within the organization is not enough to fully describe her army career. Today, we will be looking at Aubz’s memorable moments.

Aubz first stumbled upon the army community by the end of 2019, when she met the Doritos of Club Penguin. After getting to know them better, she decided to join the army. Nevertheless, her stay in the army was short-lived, and she ended up leaving after some weeks. By that time, some of her colleagues were enlisting in the Ice Warriors, and so she enlisted in this new army, getting a fresh new start there. However, it was only in the Special Weapons and Tactics that Aubz finally found herself home. After the army’s revival in 2020, she was offered a position in the army’s HCOM.
It was in the summer of 2020 that a key moment in her career took place: the creation of the One Direction Army. Along with her friend Mare, Aubz created ODA as a meme army. Nevertheless, it did not take long before the army became a prominent Small/Medium army, even securing some high positions in the Top Ten placements within the S/M community. Because of her work in both SWAT and ODA, Aubz was awarded a S/M Army Legend nomination.

In the second half of 2021, Aubz realized it was time to explore new horizons. She joined some army organization roles, such as the judging department. Surprisingly, she has been a judge for more than three years. Nevertheless, after spending some time retired from armies, she briefly joined the Water Vikings in 2022. Aubz took part in several memorable wars, with the Second Eagre Foray War being a notable one.
After finally departing from the armies, Aubz joined the moderation team in Club Penguin Armies and, last year, became the newest Community Committee Head. Undoubtedly, her work and influence within the community are undeniable. Therefore, we sat down with Aubz for an exclusive interview to learn more about her moments in CPA.
What are your most memorable moments in the army community?
I think my most memorable moment in the army community was creating ODA, I met some of my best friends in that army and had some of the best times messing around there.
What areas of the community did you enjoy exploring the most, ever since your retirement?
I think being in CC has been the most enjoyable part of exploring other parts of the army community. CC is so unique as we don’t have any affiliation to armies and our main goal is to make the community fun 🙂 I have also been a judge for so long, judging is something I really enjoy:)
Do you have any figures that inspired you to become who you are today in the community? If so, how did they inspire you?
I think that working under SCargo2 really inspired me, Cargo is a really great leader and a fun friend I learned a lot from him! Madhav also is someone I look up to, during my time in Ice Warriors he really believed in me and even when I left he was still a great friend and someone I came to for army advice.
About your career in armies, what war or tournament memories do you cherish the most?
The Special Weapons and Toppings War will always have a special place in my heart, I think that was one of the most active times in SWAT! The leaders and I had a really fun time leading that war.

What do you enjoy the most in the Community Committee, as you are its Head?
I think the thing I enjoy most about being CC head is all the amazing people in the division. I get to talk to so many people from different armies and get to hear all their great ideas. It’s always really awesome when I see an idea I had come to light and people enjoying it 🙂
Lastly, what can we expect from Aubz? Do you think more memorable moments are to come or is your time in the community coming to an end?
I think my time in the army community is coming to an end. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in armies the good and the bad but I think it’s time for me to move on soon.
The fateful event of retirement comes sooner or later for all of us, and it is no different for Aubz.
