Arguably the most competitive tournament of the year, Legends Cup XIV has kicked off with a twist. This year, the tournament is double-elimination. Unfortunately for one unlucky army, the Qualifiers Round is exempt from this. After an exciting battle, one army earned its place in the Cup.

Special Weapons And Tactics vs Squids

Despite many classifying Squids as a ‘meme army,’ the battle between the two armies was relatively close. Heading into the Cove, the Squids had eight while the Agents contested with nine. With each army increasing in size slightly and both armies having inactive soldiers, the room was deemed a tie. Looking for a win, SWAT stormed the Beach with 13 online. Squids followed soon after, reaching just nine. After an intense back-and-forth, the judges deemed SWAT faster and neater, ultimately netting them the room. The Ice Berg followed a similar pattern to the Beach in that SWAT struck first. Losing some Agents in the process, sizes were just three apart, still favouring SWAT. As SWAT made themselves appear larger, were faster in their tactic-sending and bombed better, they took the Ice Berg and qualified for the next round.

With the eight competing armies now decided, the Legends Cup XIV can officially begin.
