Mchappy‘s journey began as a new player in Club Penguin in early 2008. He was introduced to armies through his friends Wsd09 and Soccerpr in the spring of that year. His first army was Fort Ghost Recon, but he did not stay long in that army. After a short time away from armies, Mchappy searched existing armies during that time and came across the Army of Club Penguin.

He joined ACP on December 20th, 2008, being able to climb through the ranks. It was due to his motivation and his interest in the army. After some years, Mchappy was made Temporary Leader by Bobcatboy10. This temporary leadership position has allowed him to shine and prove himself to his army as a strong and capable leader.

Furthermore, Mchappy was able to use his effective leadership skills to win the Holiday Smackdown tournament. During this tournament, the Clovers were able to max 130. Reportedly, this is an unbroken record of simultaneous attendance on Xat. After Bobcat’s retirement, he was appointed as the 19th leader of the army. Soon after, he made his first major move by declaring war on the Ice Warriors on January 1st, 2011. Mchappy was able to get his first war win as a leader after IW dropped out of it.

Some more notable achievements of his also include maxing 100 during the Klondike March. Although Mchappy had to step down from the leadership position on March 26th, he later returned to the army as a High Command. This was not the last time Mchappy has led ACP. He became ACP’s joint 21st Leader in July 2012 and as well as the 27th Leader in April 2013. Moreover, his dedication and contribution to the army have allowed him to be inducted as an army legend in 2011.

In 2019, Mchappy was able to bring ACP back into the army community. This action has allowed him to guide his army into the CPPS era, until April 2023. He relinquished his roles and any power he held within the army, in the hopes of focusing more on media and the army community. Despite his departure from ACP, he left as a two-time Medal of Honor holder and as an influential figure in the army community.

Mchappy currently works as an administrator in Club Penguin Armies. He also had previous roles in previous media organizations such as Club Penguin Army Central and Small Medium Army Press. This has allowed him to contribute greatly to the Club Penguin Armies team.

Club Penguin Armies approached Mchappy to find out what his most memorable moments were in his time in the community.

What are your most memorable moments in the army community?

My most memorable moments are back from when I was younger and would log onto Xat every day to hang out with truly the best people in the world. People like Etac14. We would talk all day, I would call her on my way home from school then we would webcam on Tinychat, or hang out on Transformice.

Did becoming an admin give you the same satisfaction you had prior to your retirement?

No as becoming an admin was never for my own satisfaction. The goal the entire time has been to help create a stable community for once and for all.

What motivated you and gave you the drive to become what you are today?

As I mentioned before, the only thing I am driven by is stability. Sometimes I fear that this is a double-edge sword as I have maybe become so obsessed with the idea of stability that I fear that my own personal arguments with people will risk everything that we’ve been working towards. Therefore, I want to apologize to everyone for my mistakes as I want to provide the best experience for all of you. This is what continues to motivate me to this very day.

What are your favorite tournaments, wars, or battles you have watched or taken part in, and why?

My favorite tournament of all time would have to be the End of the Year Tournament in December 2010. It was the first time I got to truly lead an army as their main Commander in Chief. At that time, I was leading the Army of Club Penguin, and thanks to the hype of the tournament, we were able to break some serious records that challenged previous leaders. In fact, the Grand Finals of that tournament still may hold the record of most amount of users on an army chatroom at the same time?

Would you have been able to enjoy armies if you were to start over or join for the first time today?

No, I do not think so. For me, the reason I got so easily sucked into this game is because of how fun and organic the community was back when I was much younger. We would come home from school, immediately log onto Club Penguin, and just chat with one another and throw snowballs at enemy penguins. It was a much more simple time. It’s interesting because, back when I was young, there were little to no rules but we had respect for the game. Now, there seems to be no respect and too many rules.

Do you expect to make more memories in the army community in the future?

My time is coming to an end here, for good. The only thing I can ask for before my retirement is that I can end it peacefully instead of angrily.

It is truly remarkable how Mchappy was able to contribute so much to the community and still enjoy his time doing so as well. Tournaments during the holiday season are also wonderful events to remember, as Mchappy was able to spend these days celebrating the holidays and a tournament win while surrounded by friends. We, at Club Penguin Armies, wish him the best and hope he enjoys the time he has left in the community. Will you miss Mchappy greatly when he retires? What is the most memorable moment you have shared with him?
