As April continues, the Winged Hussars witness a change in their leadership with Nicoolas01 being inducted as a Monarch. Given his hard work, commitment and zeal towards the army, this promotion was well-earned.

On the 9th of April, Shinzo, one of the founders and current leaders of Winged Hussars made an announcement expressing that Nicoolas01 would be joining the army’s leadership alongside him. In his statement to the army, Shinzo commended Nicoolas on his achievements and contribution so far, addressing the future of the Hussars, and beginning a new chapter under a new Monarch. This is the first time since the army’s revival in November that a new leader has been designated, and to solidify this moment, an official post has been made on the army’s website as well.

Nicoolas01 joined the army community back in last year, on the 14th of November, enlisting in the Winged Hussars. In just a month, he received his promotion to Rotmistrz, equivalent to Fourth in Command, and would soon go on to join the Sejm, the Parliament of the army, as a Szlachta, becoming an official member. Ever since his joining the Hussars, he has come to be an integral part of the army, rising up through the ranks, and being actively engaged with the army and community at large through attending events, helping out his fellow members, recruiting and participating in discussions. As an official member of the Parliament of the army, he also plays a crucial role in making decisions, and in addition to that has come up with his own ideas and strategies to help better the army.

On the 19th of January, he advanced to the position of Marszałek, the highest military rank within the army with his promotion to Regimentarz, the Leader in Training and Second in Command rank, coming in soon at the end of the month. Having been associated with the Hussars, since the army’s revival last year, he has seen the army’s progress, and has not only helped them during wars – Christmas Crusade assisting the Elite Guardians and Wojna Prestiżowa against the People’s Imperial Confederation, but also single-handedly led the Winged Hussars in their first tournament of this generation – the New Year Bonanza. His hard work is evident, and proves to serve an important purpose in the army’s growth.

Club Penguin Armies had the opportunity to talk to Nicoolas and learn more about his thoughts on becoming a Monarch of the Winged Hussars and his plans with the army.

How does it feel to be a Leader of the Winged Hussars?

I got the title of monarch in training in January so I was waiting for this moment to come, I’m very happy that I got this promotion because it’ll help me develop some aspects of the server we should put more focus on.

What are your future plans for the army as a Monarch?

I have lots of plans, as the marketing minister I want to develop more the discord server for more activity and also bring in more recruits which is a main focus these days.

Given that you have been with the army since its revival, what are some of the things that you have noticed which you would like to improve upon under your tenure?

Since I arrived, as Hcom and leader in training I already got to change some things I could already improve. I want to develop the chats and recruits activity so I want to play more games, know everyone a bit more and attract people into joining us by just being a cool army.

What are some of the things that you have learnt or picked up on whilst being here and would like to incorporate in the army, now that you are a Leader?

I want to incorporate more game and fun content, polls, quiz, QOTD, recap of the month and many more.

Could you share your favorite memory/memories from the time you have been in this army community if it’s not too personal?

Talking with the people here is pretty fun and asking/sharing personal matters and getting real close friends is for me an important part in this army. My favorite event was the event that made us an official army.

This is your first time as an official Leader. What are you looking forward to the most?

Having more active members to talk with and learn more about the people

Where do you see the army going in a few months from now?

I hope to see them grow and in a few months, I see them becoming the best S/M army in the weekly top 10.

It seems that Nicoolas is all determined to embark on this new journey, starting with making some developments within the army, regarding activity and engagement. First times are always special, and we look forward to see what Nicoolas has in store for the Hussars under his reign.
