Cabin is a veteran within the army community whose history goes all the way back to 2014, starting as a member of Golden Troops. Despite his valuable time in the community since then, his most notable roles came in the CPPS era. Many will recognize Cabin from his time in the People’s Imperial Confederation, where he served as leader. He stepped up as the new Confederation leader in November 2021 and led through the second Silver Rush War. This war was also dubbed as World War VIII. Despite being a new leader, Cabin was able to lead through the war and help the Confederation to defend their land and successfully invade Western Bloc‘s territory.

However, despite their good results in the war, no winner was officially declared because a peace treaty was agreed upon and signed by all armies involved. Cabin was able to lead PIC to achieve a max size of 22 before retiring from the army on January 15th, 2022. He remains a Legend in PIC to this day. His departure led to him joining the Templars of Club Penguin on February 20th, 2022. He was originally hired as a third in command, having previous leading experience. However, despite him only being a 3ic, he soon made his way up the ranks and staked a claim in Templars’ history.

Cabin’s TCP achievements from his retirement post

On June 6th, just four months after joining the army, Cabin became one of the leaders of the golden powerhouse. During his time there, he earned 16 medals and yet another Legend status for his efforts within the army. He led them through their golden age, dominating the Top Tens and the army scene. He also helped them through many wars with the Lime Green Army, Special Weapons And Tactics, Rebel Penguin Federation, and the Water Vikings.

The army went on to win the war against SWAT and against a no-show Lime Green Army. However, they surrendered to the Rebels and mutually drafted a treaty with the Vikings.  Amidst the war with the Vikings, Cabin decided to step down from his position of Grand Prior. He announced his retirement from the Templars on November 3rd, 2022. These are just four of the wars Cabin took part in as a leader, throughout his vast army career.

He showed his prowess as a leader in each army he participated in and went on to create Napalm Corps in February 2023. Despite the army having a brief first generation, the Napalm Corps returned to the community once again in April. Under Cabin’s leadership, the army not only got the fifth position in Top Ten but also flourished internally, taking part in the recent AUSIA Arena: Summer Edition. Napalm Corps also participated in both wars involving the Sapphire Concordat. Eventually, they came out victorious in their Bloodbath Barrage war. World War IX, which involves the Corps fighting for the Sapphire Concordat, is still ongoing.

On June 6th, Cabin announced his retirement from the army. In the retirement post, he cites reasons of real-life commitments and lack of motivation. However, Cabin also appointed his successor to make sure the army keeps going in his absence. Kyra, a HCOM member of the Napalm Corps, received a promotion to Commander following Cabin’s retirement. Moreover, Cabin announced Sweater and Legoman as the advisors of the army, who will provide guidance in his absence. What does the future hold for Napalm Corps?

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Cabin for an interview regarding his retirement and the future of the army.

What is the reason behind your retirement?

I’m working more than 30 hours a week and I have no motivation to pursue anything further in this community.

What kind of an impact do you think your retirement will have on the army at large?

The army may struggle a bit and I recognize that. However, it would be better off than how it has been over the past week or two. For example, I cancelled several training events because I did not have the mental strength to lead them. I believe the army would be better off under Kyra’s leadership than my leadership over the past few weeks. Although she is new to the Club Penguin army community compared to others, she will be advised by Sweater and Lego in my absence.

Do you think you were able to execute all that you had planned for the army, during your time?

It would have been nice to win battles and reach higher maxes, but I think I did the best that I could with what I was given. I created and led the army by myself. All of my ranks were filled with people from outside the community. I’m just proud of myself for getting this far.

What would you say has been the best thing about being a leader?

Testing myself.

Could you share your favourite memory/memories of the army with me, if it’s not too personal?

I had several favorite memories, but reaching #5 on the Top Ten was probably my favorite of them all.

Do you plan to come back at any time in the future?

I think I’m done for good this time.

Any final words, or advice you would like to give to the staff team and the army at large?

If any of your moms are available, hit me up!

Club Penguin Armies also reached out to Kyra for an interview.

Were you expecting to be promoted to leader during the middle of a World War?

I was not!

How do you plan to help the Napalm Corps grow from this point forward, seeing that the army is heavily involved in the war?

I plan to have our community awake and ready for every war.

Who are the people whom you look up to the most, as mentors in the community?

Probably sweater and cabin

What is the main goal, the theme, that you will try to uphold as a leader?

I will try to not let nc crash or shut down.

And there we have it. From an original Club Penguin army member to a coveted veteran of the community. Cabin has retired, leaving his army and his army career behind. Whilst he acknowledges that the army may struggle, he has faith in his successor to lead the army to higher places. With the army now involved in World War 9, Kyra will certainly be challenged, however, could we see the rise of a future Napalm Corps Legend? Could Napalm Corps thrive under the leadership of Kyra? We wish both Kyra and Cabin the best of luck as they both head in different directions to fulfill their goals.
