HCOM Life Stories: The Persistent Cheerleader

Welcome to the fourth edition of the column known as High Command Life Stories. This week we will be getting in touch with someone who is fearlessly vocal and wears her heart on her sleeve.

Elsa has become a prominent character in the army community. We’ve titled her the ‘Persistent Cheerleader’ as she is often found cheering on her favorite armies at their events if she is not already attending a Templars event. In fact, Elsa’s journey began in October 2020, during the height of the pandemic. She was unfamiliar with the army community as a whole while she was being recruited into her first army: Templars.

October 2020: Templars were still classified as a “small-medium” army

When it came to ranking up in the army, Elsa described it as “tough.” There was even a point where Elsa stepped away from Templars. Eventually, with the right mentorship by Xing, Elsa learned how to recruit and properly act as a High Command. Legend Racecar4 even described Elsa as “the most consistent HCOM I’ve ever seen.” Aside from her home army, Elsa has held dual positions in other armies such as the Dark Vikings, Galactic Empire, Skateboarders, and Trojans.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Elsa to discuss more about her High Command journey.

What have been some of the memorable days/times in your army career so far, if you don’t mind sharing?

The most memorable times in my army career is the war between Templars and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) in 2021!

Has this journey from being a troop in the army to a member of High Command changed you in any way as a person?

It has changed me because I was very soft when I first joined but now I’ve changed and I’m still tough and soft at the same time.

What is the best part about being an HCOM?

The best part of being an HCOM is making new friends!

What are your plans personally with the army, and what do you wish to achieve for/in the army?

My plans personally within Templars is to hopefully stay loyal and help them out with stuff that they need to get done with wars and mostly attend events during the week, and not AUSIAs.

What would your advice be to the people who are working towards getting HCOM?

My best advice to the people who are trying to get HCOM is to be smart and never forget where you come from and to be strong!

It seems that Elsa has a lot of loyalty left to give. Potentially even one day we may be referring to Elsa as a fierce leader in the community. At the time of this post, it happens to be Elsa’s birthday. Everyone on our team is wishing you, Elsa, a very happy birthday! What are some of your favorite Elsa moments?
