KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – Just moments after transferring all their land to the People’s Imperial Confederation, the Templars declared war against the Water Vikings, eventually being deemed invalid. What was the reason behind this invalidity? What was the outcome of it?
On the 19th of January, the Templars declared war on the Water Vikings, stating their war terms and scheduling two invasions right away. However, after negotiations between the head judges and administration, the war effort was deemed invalid. The reason behind this invalidity was due to the violation of the Treaty of the Axe and Sword that both armies agreed to back in December.
Both armies are no stranger to war, especially against one another. The Water Vikings and Templars have faced off one-on-one multiple times, the most recent being in December. Better known as the Helligland Campaign, both armies went back and forth invading land, until the Treaty of the Axe and Sword was signed. The first-ever war between these two took place back in June 2020. This war would eventually end in Water Viking victory.
Director-in-Chief, DMT, released an official statement hours later, stating that the Templars war efforts were invalid. The administration viewed the land transfer with the People’s Imperial Confederation as a violation of the Treaty of the Axe and Sword. Due to this violation in terms, all land transferred to the People’s Imperial Confederation by the Templars shall be transferred to the Water Vikings.
Water Vikings Advisor Dino released a post on their website speaking of the war effort of the Templars, to bypass the active treaty. He also congratulated the Water Vikings on winning this war, jokingly dubbed the “War of No Battles“. Templars leader, Xing, registered the Templars in an external league and declared war on the Water Vikings there as well.
CPAHQ was able to reach out to both army leaders for their thoughts on the invalid declaration of war:
Xing, Templars Leader: HQ’s relevancy is gone, anyways, there goes any entertainment for them for the next few months and maybe something else. Not sure to be honest.
Brownpen, Templars Leader: Based and should of been valid
Aaronstone, Water Vikings Leader: I thought it was pretty fun man I mean treaty clearly stated he couldn’t do what he did and this is the end result so he threw all his hard work in the trash. Now he’s rejoining CPAN to come and war us for whatever reason rather than fight armies closer to his size. Xing and his max 50 or whatever Templars everyone. Hates BIA but won’t fight them
Mistymoonlake, Water Vikings Leader: I find the declaration absolutely hilarious, truly made my day. Xing trying to find a loophole out of the treaty even though he’s the one who came to us for a treaty after the last war, and then failing to read the treaty properly and losing 34 servers? That’s gold right there. Imagine declaring war 3 times in a day and losing all of them. Also, shoutout to dino for drafting such an ironclad treaty. Truly a work of art. Get dino’d
To many people’s surprise, there will be no war between the Templars and Water Vikings anytime within the CP Army HQ. However, it seems the community is about to witness a war between them on a whole different playing field. The future is certainly uncertain for both armies, however, will a war actually happen?
This is stupid, we transferred our land to PIC so we could keep it safe, there was nothing in the ToAS that said we can’t transfer land
I agree. This is cringe and stupid.
In my very humble opinion, the transfer was very based and redpilled.
