KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – On the 22nd of August, 2021, at 7:51 pm EST, the Templars declared war on the Water Vikings. What led the Templars to make this decision?

On August 22nd, the Templars declared war on the Water Vikings. This is not the first time the two armies have engaged in war. The Templars have provided a few screenshots that put the Water Vikings in a bad light. Nonetheless, it seems that the Water Vikings were planning to declare war on the Templars anyway, and the Templars were aware of so after they came across something that confirmed the Water Vikings’ intentions to declare war. The Templars, also known as TCP for short, was created on April 4th, 2018, by Xing. The army has faced numerous defacements since then but has risen to be one of the most infamous and strongest major armies of the CPPS era. The army has spawned fourteen legends, a major legend, and an S/M legend, and has become well-known for taking inspiration from the real-life Roman and Byzantine Empires.

The Water Vikings were founded on December 28, 2010, by Jed Pen and Zakster, and continue to be one of the oldest major armies existing to date. They are remembered for being the first colonized army to break free of colonization and become bigger than their host army. The army has gone through multiple generations but continues to stand strong, even after a decade.

On June 19th, 2020, Water Viking leaders decided to join the People’s Imperial Confederation in their war against the Templars. Titled the “Confederation War,” this conflict soon sprouted into a large conflict primarily between the Water Vikings and the Templars while involving various smaller armies including but not limited to the Red Ravagers, Marines, Golden Troops, and PZF.

CPAHQ reached out to Xing of the Templars and Aaronstone of the Water Vikings to find out more information about this upcoming war.

Xing: We knew they were going to declare war. We all knew about it. We called a staff meeting with about 36-40 people in attendance. We discussed that war is the best decision. We thought it was a bait, but, we didn’t care if it was because war is beneficial for us either way. Templars are now aware of all the armies supporting WV. One of them, we know to be SWAT, we will not reveal the rest. Then our advisor Popcorny had a small talk with Shinde, the WV leader and it seemed she was disregarding the other leaders when she was speaking to Popcorny while offering us some sort of peace agreement. Shinde seemed really hesitant on getting into war, I’m not sure about the other leaders. When Popcorny asked if the other WV leaders knew of this, she completely disregarded them and said “I am the leader.” Then one of our Grand Marshals, Potassium, spoke with Aaronstone, the Water Vikings leader and Aaron was very much saying there would be no war between Templars and WV. This was all during our war meeting and we knew that was a complete bluff. We are aware that Water Vikings is falling hard in size, as shown by your top ten, with a size average of around 16ish size points. As a result of this, they have decided to use allies. We were contemplating a war against Water Vikings ourselves a couple of days before, but, we decided they were too small to attack and not worth our time in all honesty. We wanted bigger heights to aim for. We also consider this war a continuation of “Operation: Templaria” or “The 10th Great Holy War” because of SWAT siding with Water Vikings. We are aware of how close these two armies are. Our diplomats and spies have known very well about the talks between the both of those armies and their plans to go to war with us. Water Vikings will claim that we tried to troopsteal people, but that’s completely false. All of the conversation I’ve had with any of their troops is just pure banter and army talk in general. In reality, their reason for going to war is to save their dying army from actually collapsing. Revan, Manu and Fedd are completely absent from their leadership. This only leaves Aaron and Shinde in the driver’s seat. I have no idea if Shinde is as active AS Aaron to be completely honest. I believe Aaron is only carrying WV. Water Vikings really only can muster a complete maximum of 30 people, but, that is with allies. Speaking within the bounds of actual size, I think they may rally 10-20 at maximum. In all fairness, I believe that Shinde’s activity will likely die out quite soon because of university and most of the WV leadership are adults and have college and lives as well. Comparing that to our leadership, all of us are in high school except Brownpen4, who has a really lenient college schedule.

With both armies having conflicting views and differences in opinions, it seems that the war will not end so soon. It will definitely be interesting to see how this war pans out. We wish both armies good luck in their future endeavors.
