Welcome to Club Penguin Armies, the leading organization and news source for the Club Penguin army community.

Founded in July 2022, CPA was established to unify the army scene under a central league, bringing structure, fairness, and consistent media coverage to the community. Since our inception, we have become the premier hub for everything related to Club Penguin armies, from breaking news and Top Ten placements to competitive tournaments and community events.

  • Community Events: We provide the largest community events of the modern era, including annual Army Olympics, seasonal town halls, championships, and themed events that bring armies together in intense and fun competition.

  • Daily News Coverage: Our Media Department provides up-to-date news reports, editorials, interviews, and battle and war coverages that document the history of Club Penguin armies.

  • Community Hangout: With hundreds of members, our Discord server is the social hub of the community, a space for discussion, announcements, and engagement among army leaders, troops, and CPA staff.

ORGANIZATIONal structure

The success of Club Penguin Armies is driven by a dedicated team of individuals overseeing each core area of the organization. Our department heads ensure that CPA remains structured, competitive, and transparent in everything we do.

Army League Board

The Army Board consists of all armies that have consistently ranked in the weekly Top Ten Armies for four weeks in a row, excluding proxies and colonies. The board will consist of one member from each army, who must be very active in the community and willing to engage in discussions. This member can be switched at any point. Advisors

The advisors will be made up of experienced individuals who have media and/or league experience. They are to offer advice to the administrators.

REPORTING HEADS

The Editor-in-Chief oversees the entire Media Department, managing both the editorial and reporting teams. They are responsible for maintaining editorial standards, coordinating content flow, and hiring new reporters to strengthen the team. Supporting them are the Managing Editors and Associate Editors, who ensure a steady flow of content. They work closely with reporters to develop article ideas, edit posts, and also provide constructive feedback to help writers grow and improve.

Reporters

At the foundation of our Media Department are the Reporters, the driving force behind our content. They are responsible for producing a wide range of articles, including news, editorials, opinion pieces, columns, stories, and more. Aspiring reporters begin as Reporters-in-Training, where they learn the standards and expectations of CPA media. To officially attain the Reporter role, trainees must earn a score of 7/10 or higher on at least two written pieces, demonstrating both skill and potential.

After demonstrating sufficient expertise in reporting, a promotion to Senior Reporter is warranted. This is an intermediate position dedicated to training reporters for a higher position in the editing team.

top ten committee

The Weekly and Monthly Top Ten Armies are compiled through a collaborative effort involving several key roles, each with defined responsibilities to ensure accuracy and consistency.

The Top Ten Committee Heads oversees the process, assisting in the distribution of calculations and drafting the final post. A dedicated Calculations Committee is responsible for reviewing each army’s events, gathering sizes, and posting verified max pictures in a designated channel for verification.

Once compiled, the data is reviewed by both the Top Ten Committee Heads and the Chief Executive Producers, who ensure accuracy and completeness. The Administration then finalizes the calculations, inputs the data into the official spreadsheet, and assists in the publishing of the post for the community.

Community Committee 

A dedicated Community Committee is established to organize and host games, activities, and other miscellaneous events that bring the community together outside of battles. This team will be led by a Community Committee Head, who will coordinate planning and execution with support and oversight from the CPA Administration. The goal of the committee is to foster a fun, inclusive environment and strengthen community bonds through regular and engaging events.

The Moderators are responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment within our community chat. They ensure that all members are following the server’s rules and guidelines, taking appropriate action when necessary to address misconduct. Please note that while the Discord server rules are clearly outlined, their enforcement is subject to the discretion of the moderation team, who are trained to assess context and respond accordingly.
