The army community has been in the golden age for some time. Things have been going even better lately for the community, which shows that it has now elevated higher, entering the Diamond Age.

Introduction
I came looking for gold but I found diamonds.
After the great success of March Madness XI and the recent growth of the community, it was now clear. Club Penguin Armies also needs to follow along and improve as well. The timing is perfect, as the community has just gained its max 200 army, given that the Army of Club Penguin and the Rebel Penguin Federation just merged. The community’s growth is so intense that just today, three armies are planning to open, with one already having been revived. This is enough talking about the general community, let’s now look at how CPA will follow along with the times and what makes this a diamond age.
Top Ten Changes
After the change to the consistency formula, we are adding a new entry to the Top Tens. Starting from this week’s Top Ten, there will be a new metric that gives points to the armies. It is called the “Diamond Age” metric and ranges from -50 to 50 points. The way it works is that an army will gain 0.2 points per tactic that references the Diamond Age. Armies begin with -30 Diamond Age points. This means that if they don’t do any about it, they will lose 30 points in the Top Ten. Additionally, if they do tactics but they are talking negatively about it, they will lose 1 point per tactic, till they reach -50. This change gives armies that follow along in the new era a small boost, while punishing the ones who are stuck in the past.
Map Changes
This is a change that will probably shock the most readers. It is now obvious, more than ever, that the times are changing. We have read and written countless posts about armies no longer going to war. There have been more posts about it than actual wars. Armies no longer like to battle on Club Penguin. The reasons for that can be multiple and have been analysed several times. Depending on who you ask, they will give you a different explanation of why this happens. Everyone agrees on the same thing, though, which is a rare occurrence in our community. Armies have turned into groups. This has also been seen in the server map, which, even though it is the most perfect map ever designed in the armies’ history, still lacks wars. This made us look for a solution and take decisive measures.
We have decided to completely remove the army server map. Despite the multiple efforts to make it more appealing, armies don’t want to battle anymore. There is nothing we can do about it. Except that there is. Behold…
Club Penguin Armies Minecraft Server
What if the issue is not the army leaders and the army alliances but the game itself? Club Penguin was never intended to be a platform for battles and fighting. Its intended purpose is exactly the opposite: to make new friends. For that, we decided to change the base of the entire army community. Given its popularity and since it is a game for all ages, Minecraft was chosen. After all, the diamond ore is iconic in Minecraft, and this is the diamond age.
This should also help the armies with recruiting, as the recruiting pool has just grown much larger. Instead of fighting for land on Club Penguin, armies will now battle on Minecraft, through PvP, to gain new land. Each army will basically be a Minecraft faction and will have its own starting land. To reward the armies that have land on the current map, we are giving them 1 netherite block and 5 golden apples per land owned. We hope to see many intense Minecraft battles on the CPA server, to the point that the server crashes. The funds will also help with covering the server run costs. While the server will not launch yet, as it is under preparation, the new channels will be added to the server today.
Moderation Improvement
We have also decided to heavily improve our server moderation. Everyone has been labelled as “Unverified” for now, and no longer has access to the #community-chat. Each person will get verified over time, through a thorough and lengthy process, to ensure the full safety of the community. CPA has partnered with Discord and Google to ensure that. During the verification process, the Administration will get confirmation from Discord that you are a real person, and you don’t impersonate someone else after Discord has matched your ID with your submitted personal photo. After that, we will search your internet history and social media history through your Google account. Once this process is done and if your record is clean, you will be allowed to access the #community-chat once again. Otherwise, if there is an issue, you will be given the Jailed role and be kept in the CPA #prison.
Furritosis Vaccine
After a few months, the Furritosis vaccine has been finalised and distributed. The community is now safe once again from the furries. This is another diamond moment for our community as a whole. The Dark Warriors, where the disease was made and distributed as a weapon, will remain quarantined, as they are dangerous for our entire community. Hopefully, all the furries will be brought back to their pre-furritosis state, and the meowing incidents in the #verification channel will decrease rapidly.

Administration Changes
As we join a new age, we also need to have a change in the Administration. The current administration is golden, but it needs to become diamond. For that, we have decided to promote Dalloway to Executive Producer. Make sure to congratulate her in the community-chat whenever you get access to it. Dalloway had been a fearless advisor for the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, stepping up in times of need. She has become an urban legend ever since, mainly because she was never real. Notably, she was once close to becoming a Club Penguin Army Judges Head Judge. We decided that in order to ensure the Diamond Age, we needed to resurrect her. And that’s what we did, after much time and immense effort (Edu adding the account in the server). With Dalloway here, we have nothing to fear.
A New Tournament
Last of all, and the most important thing of the Diamond Age, is the upcoming tournament. It is something that the community has wished for for a while, but has not gotten it yet. Club Penguin Armies presents…
Multilogging Mayhem

Multilogging has been a core aspect of our community forever. Maybe instead of fighting against it, we should just embrace it. The Diamond Age gives us the perfect chance to witness who the best multilogger actually is. Various people and armies have gotten that award in multiple Galas over the years. It is now time to prove themselves on the battlefield. The tournament will take place on May 2-3, because as the name suggest it is a Mayhem. Additionally, we would like to give armies some time to prepare their multilogs and make new ones. The detailed rule list will be published closer to the tournament date; some key rules, however, will be made known now. All active armies, and even armies that are not currently active but wish to participate, are invited to join the largest tournament of the year, where legends will be born.
Key Rules:
- Armies without multilogs will be disqualified. Multilogging in all battles is mandatory.
- Multilogs should have specific names. All multilogs should follow the same format. This will be the army’s abbreviation, followed by the multilog number. To further explain it, the names should look like this: “<army name><number>“. For example, “WV126”, “TCP445”, “Aliens19”.
- The battles will be either 2-way (normal) or 3-way, depending on the number of participants.
- There will be 2 categories. One for Major armies and another for Small-Medium. The winners will be declared the best multiloggers of the army community. The next Gala’s “Best Multilogger” nominations will be members of the winning armies.
It is now confirmed that the Diamond Age will be the best one the army community has experienced. The question now is, are you ready for it? Will you be allowed in the CPA server, or will you be imprisoned instead? Did you like the new changes brought through the Diamond Age?
