Welcome to the latest edition of the Advisors’ Advice column. In this new instalment, we put the spotlight on one of the Water Vikings’ most highly notable members, Vivala. With much experience in the community, let us see what we can learn.

The Water Vikings are a very historic army within the community. As one of the armies from the original Disney Club Penguin, they became famous when two or more armies formed a coalition to create the army, in which they would grow larger than their host army. With these events taking place in 2010, the Water Vikings have gone on to become a staple within the army scene. Impressively, the Water Vikings had their 15th anniversary last December, and they have shown no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Water Vikings during their 15th anniversary

Many legends have been created from the Water Vikings, along with some already noteworthy people leading the army throughout time. With WV sporting such a competitive list, Vivala would prove she deserved to be recognised amongst them. Before she began her leadership tenure in 2020 with WV, Vivala had already shown her capabilities with the Doritos of Club Penguin. It was here at DCP where she would learn the skills necessary to lead Major armies. After becoming DCP’s main leader on January 11, 2020, Vivala had paved a highly respectable legacy that would earn her a spot within the Doritos Hall of Fame. Vivala had become cemented as a legend within DCP history.

Vivala was not done there, though. After retiring from DCP on August 9, 2020, she would join WV some time later. It is unclear from the WV records when she exactly became a leader, but her time at WV was nothing short of significant. For her work with WV, she would earn herself a spot in their Hall of Fame with the ‘Honour of Valur’. Extending further, she was even a part of the army’s ’15th Year Anniversary Committee’, a role she held among many other legends. Unfortunately, her time within WV had been cut short due to mass doxxings around the army community. Leaving for safety reasons, Vivala would eventually become an advisor for the army. With such a storied and brilliant legacy behind her, she undoubtedly provides WV with top-notch guidance.

INTERVIEW

Wanting to learn more from Vivala, Club Penguin Armies reached out to her with an exclusive interview.

How did you first get into Club Penguin Armies? What has the journey been like so far?

I played club penguin as a kid but didn’t know about CPA until I heard about CPPSes and joined one of those, waddling around and armies were advertising from there. Journey so far has been a lot lol. Lots of ups and downs

Do you have any current goals/ambitions in the army community?

Personal goals not really lol my goal would just be to enjoy myself nowadays.

When you became an advisor for WV, did anything impress or disappoint you?

I was impressed with the structure that was made while I had been gone. Like theres much more structure and guides and such for staff.

Right now, where do you think the Water Vikings stand within CPA? Do you believe you guys are on track for any internal WV goals?

Right now I think WV has a pretty strong standing in the CPA community. It’s been consistently top 4 in weekly TT so I think theyre a sturdy army. I think right now in terms of being on track for WV goals, they’re in the process of still figuring out how to best get there.

Lastly, do you have any advice you’d like to give to any aspiring troops or leaders?

My advice is to stay safe and don’t give personal info. And stay kind.

To conclude, the Water Vikings are lucky to have Vivala on their side. As someone who has been there and led the army to great heights, the help and insights she can provide for current and future leaders will be irreplaceable. With many of the successful operations the Water Vikings continue to have, we can be sure Vivala and the other advisors are playing a great part. Where do you see the Water Vikings at the end of the year? Do you think Vivala will ever lead the army again? What would you like to ask Vivala?
