This week marks not only the rapid approach of April but also the end of March Madness XI. On March 28, the third-place match shall unfold between Templars of Club Penguin and Water Vikings; with March 29 being the magnum opus, the grand finals between Rebel Penguin Federation and Army of Club Penguin. Additionally, on March 29, the trophy celebration shall unfold an hour after the finals.
March Madness is an ancient tradition, dating back to February 25, 2013, under Club Penguin Army Central (CPAC); its origins were in CPAC Editor in Chief Paco’s desire to recreate the NCAA’s March Madness tournament within Club Penguin. The army that won the first March Madness was Nachos. Since then, the tournament has continued, with a brief hiatus in 2017-2019 before being revived by Club Penguin Online Army League for March Madness V. Then, March Madness VI was hosted by Club Penguin Army Headquarters (CPAHQ); it was then hosted by several independent leaders for March Madness VII, and finally, it has been hosted by Club Penguin Armies (CPA) from March Madness VIII and beyond.

Club Penguin Armies has contacted a few community members seeking their predictions for both rounds.
Templars of Club Penguin versus Water Vikings
The third-place match will come first; it pits the two semifinal losers against each other, namely Templars and Water Vikings. With WV’s maxes generally hovering around 20-30 and Templars’ maxes hovering around 30-50, it will be truly interesting to see how things go down.
Crazyflame, Dark Pirates leader: For the first one, I would say WV (2-0-1)
Cyber, Fire Vikings leader: The Templars will probably win 2-1 March has not been a favorable month for WV but I wish both armies good luck ^
Karius, Dark Warriors leader: I think that what TCP V WV will come down to is who wants it more and which army can out-lead the other. I do think that it will go W-L-W in WV’s favour. I think that Water Vikings have what it take to pull out the win and take 3rd place this time.
SnowPlayer721, ACP 2ic HCOM: TCP vs WV: This will be a close battle, but I think TCP will win in OT (2-1-1)
Thuanthaijo, Help Force leader: I think Templars will win 2-1. It’ll be a close battle since both maxed similarly in previous battles, but I think TCP should be able to gather more.
Army of Club Penguin versus Rebel Penguin Federation
Perhaps most exciting of all is the Army of Club Penguin versus Rebel Penguin Federation. Of the armies confirmed to exist, Army of Club Penguin is the oldest proper “army.” Meanwhile, the Rebel Penguin Federation is known for bringing great multitudes to events. Reviewing the actual data, ACP tend to hover around 50-70, whilst RPF hovers around 30-50 (without the boost they tend to get at important events such as tournaments)
Crazyflame, Dark Pirates leader: For the first one, I would say RPF (2-0-1) with OT […] RPF 3-0-1 [sic]
Cyber, Fire Vikings leader: Both have shown a great peak lately, but in my opinion, ACP will win; they’ve had the biggest peak in recent years my guess: 2-1
Karius, Dark Warriors leader: In terms of RPF vs ACP, I’m going to do something that most would be crazy to do. This could create Legends in the army if it happens but T-T-T-W to ACP. I could be wrong but this could be ACP’s tournament to win. They need to continue to capitalise on the momentum they have and use it to take gold. This battle will be the closest of the entire tournament and generally, I would predict a RPF victory but something is different this year and we will see what happens.
Stevos, Water Vikings leader: ACP all the way man, lots of great guys there that ive known for years. But RPF isnt someone to take for granted either considering their current tournament win streak. But im going with ACP
Thuanthaijo, Help Force leader: I think ACP will barely win in overtime. Part of this is me not wanting RPF to win every tournament again. Also, ACP has been maxing very well and I think it’s definitely possible for them to outnumber RPF
According to how the community has answered, the most likely army to prevail in the third-place match is TCP by a long shot. In the finals, the most likely army to win, as per the community’s answers, is ACP by a wide margin. We wish every single army the best in their pursuit of victory and glory. Who do you think is most likely to win the third-place match? Who will win the finals? Do you think there will be any surprises in the finals?
