March Madness is an annual tournament with a long history in the Club Penguin Armies community. First introduced in 2013, the event quickly became one of the most recognized competitions, with several editions held over the years under different organizers. After a pause following the shutdown of Club Penguin and Club Penguin Army Central, the tournament returned in 2020 during the Club Penguin Private Server era and has continued ever since.
This year marks the eleventh edition of March Madness, giving armies another opportunity to showcase their strongest tactics, coordination, and performance on the battlefield. Last year, the Rebel Penguin Federation claimed the title after defeating Help Force in the finals, while Doritos of Club Penguin secured third place. With MMXI now underway, armies once again compete for the championship.

March Madness X Final: Rebel Penguin Federation vs Help Force
REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION VS SHADOW LEGIONARIES
Rebel Penguin Federation completely dominated the single room of this battle with overwhelming size, fast reactions, and total room coverage. Shadow Legionaries tried to stay active with bombs and a small V formation, but they were severely held back by a massive size gap and a few AFKs, leaving almost all of their shapes buried and indecipherable under RPF’s troops. With RPF controlling the momentum and visibility from start to finish, they easily took Room 1. SL ended up logging off right after, handing RPF a decisive, early victory.

ALIENS VS WATER VIKINGS
With the Aliens dropping out of the tournament, Water Vikings secured an automatic victory by forfeit, smoothly advancing to the next round without a fight.
TEMPLARS OF CLUB PENGUIN VS HELP FORCE
Templars of Club Penguin controlled the early momentum, securing the first two rooms by maintaining noticeably cleaner formations and staying more alert. Help Force actually held a slight size advantage to start, but they were weighed down by slow transitions, wandering troops, and frantic movements. Even though both armies got a bit messy in the second room, TCP stayed composed enough to hold their lead. However, Room 3 saw a major shift. HF improved their performance considerably and took advantage of an increasing size advantage. Unfortunately TCP started to lose momentum with AFKs and messy formations that were easy to cover. Despite HF’s solid comeback in the final room, TCP’s early consistency and better overall execution in the first two rooms secured them the victory.

ARMY OF CLUB PENGUIN VS DARK WARRIORS
Army of Club Penguin really controlled the momentum across all three rooms with much cleaner formations, faster reactions, and overwhelming room coverage. Dark Warriors definitely put up a fight and even picked up their pace in the second room, but they were ultimately held back by messy shapes, stray players, and a pretty massive size disadvantage. Room 3 was more of the same, with ACP pulling off creative, well-spread formations that completely buried DW’s attempts. In the end, ACP simply outclassed their opponents in size and consistency. In conclusion, ACP won all three rooms and advance in the semifinals.
