March Madness is an annual tournament with a long history in the Club Penguin Armies community. First introduced in 2013, the event quickly became one of the most recognized competitions, with several editions held over the years under different organizers. After a pause following the shutdown of Club Penguin and Club Penguin Army Central, the tournament returned in 2020 during the Club Penguin Private Server era and has continued ever since.
This year marks the eleventh edition of March Madness, giving armies another opportunity to showcase their strongest tactics, coordination, and performance on the battlefield. Last year, the Rebel Penguin Federation claimed the title after defeating Help Force in the finals, while Doritos of Club Penguin secured third place. With MMXI now underway, armies once again compete for the championship.

March Madness X Final: Rebel Penguin Federation vs Help Force
Let’s see what the battles were and who advanced to the next stage.
Shadow Legionnaries vs Romans
Shadow Legionnaries held the advantage in Rooms 1 and 2 with cleaner formations, faster responses, and stronger overall coverage, despite showing some AFKs and a few gaps at different points. Romans had moments of solid countering and room presence, but they were more often hurt by messy formations, slower transitions, and players out of position. Room 3 was much closer, with both armies showing similar strengths and weaknesses through gaps, AFKs, and slower tactics, leaving neither side clearly ahead. Shadow Legionnaires outperformed their opponents in form, consistency, and coverage in the first two rooms, and both sides tied the third room, allowing SL to advance to the next stage.

Dark Warriors vs Scarlet Republic
Dark Warriors dominated all three rooms with overwhelming size, faster tactics and far stronger overall coverage, despite a few AFKs and occasional bunching. Scarlet Republic struggled heavily throughout the battle. They showing slow completion, weak defenses, and very limited room presence. They were also fully covered in most exchanges. In Room 1 and Room 2, Dark Warriors maintained complete control through superior speed, cleaner forms, and constant pressure.Room 3 became even more one-sided because Scarlet Republic stayed absent for most of the room. Dark Warriors dominated in size, form, pace, and impact from start to finish, so the judges declared all three rooms as Dark Warriors victories
