March is just around the corner, and with it comes another iteration of the traditional March Madness tournament. Now more than ever, armies will need a very good luck to advance to the Championship Round.

Designed by Master DS
March Madness is the third most traditional tournament to be hosted in the army community, now reaching its eleventh rendition. Yearly, armies spend the month of March showcasing their fiercest tactics and strategies in the first main tournament of the year. Club Penguin Armies is pleased to officially announce to the community that we will be hosting March Madness XI, and further details will be made within the following week.
Last year, in March Madness X, the community saw 14 armies competing in it. After many great battles, an interesting Grand Finals battle took place between the Help Force and the Rebel Penguin Federation, with the latter having 50 troops of advantage compared to the former. Unsurprisingly, the Rebels 3-0d the Helpers, winning their second tournament of 2025. The Doritos ended up in third place after an intense battle against the Army of Club Penguin.
MARCH MADNESS XI
This year, we hope to see way more exciting battles as armies aim to start 2026 strong. With Major armies now reaching astonishing sizes in tournament battles, and the Small/Medium community boiling with activity, expectations are high.
Just like in Christmas Chaos XV, Club Penguin Armies will award a dedicated Small/Medium Division Trophy. This trophy will be presented to the S/M army that advances the furthest in the tournament, provided they do not reach and win the Grand Finals. A battle between ‘tied’ S/M armies will take place upon arrangement with the army leaders. As we stated previously, this recognition aims to ensure that S/M armies feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated in the year’s major tournaments, encouraging them to participate, compete, and enjoy the experience to its fullest.
Following a board vote, this time, the Top 2-4 armies (based on the standings) will directly qualify to the Quarter Finals without going through Qualifiers. The rest will go through the Qualifiers 1 and 2 (if needed).
The tournament is expected to last 4 weeks, starting on March 7. The tentative date for the Grand Finals is March 28. The following armies are invited to participate. Army leaders of the armies mentioned below should direct message an Administrator to confirm their participation in the tournament. The sign-ups will conclude on Wednesday, February 25, at 12 PM EST.

Once again, we would like to thank our partners, the Club Penguin Army Judges, for their continuous support. Without them, we would not be able to run tournaments smoothly. We would also like to thank the Club Penguin Army Battleground and its staff, who have helped provide a safe, stable space to host tournaments and battles and ensured we could have themed rooms for March Madness XI. Last but not least, we thank Master DS, who came up with this year’s March Madness logo and branding.
May the luckiest army win!
