CPA Comic #68: Operation: Winterstorm Summary

Operation: Winterstorm ended some days ago, but the memories from it are still recent. In this Comic, our cartoonist Yeeter portrays an average day of the Operation, summarising it in a simple way.

Explaining the Comic

Last week of January, Club Penguin Armies hosted the Operation: WinterStorm tournament. It was a unique style tournament, based on the CPA community and not on the armies themselves. Each member of the Discord server was able to join one of the four teams. There were also elections right before the tournament began so that the leaders could be chosen by the members of each team. This community tournament was a very intense experience for the community with about 40 invasions being scheduled in the new map and over 200 people joining it.

The first panel shows the Green Team in a dino outfit and its green puffle fighting the Blue Team in a bunny outfit (FURRY ALERT ). The Blues have a blue puffle, while both teams are shouting to overcome each other and prove that they are better. In the second panel, there is the Red Team spreading Art Propaganda with the help of the goated Club Penguin Armies Art Trio (Yeeter, Lirri and Zooy). At the same time, Yeeter is committing cannibalism… Yikes… The final panel shows the Black Team crying in misery because the Reds wiped them out of the map. The depicted penguin is now crying while the song “I Love You So” by “The Walters” is playing in the background.

The Comic portrays an average day during the Operation. Teams Blue and Green were invading each other, having up to four battles every day. At the same time, the Reds were killing the Blacks before they eventually turned against the Blues. There was turmoil inbetween the Black Team and a leadership crisis after the first losses. It eventually was the only team that managed to get fully eliminated. It also used the first nuke in the new map, against Summit, which was owned by the Reds. There were more bombs and nukes dropping later on by the Blues and Reds targetting each other.
