A REBElS JOURNEY
MasterDS began her journey in 2019, when she joined the Rebel Penguin Federation through Club Penguin Rewritten. She joined the army as a recruit, though, being new to Discord, she did participate in a few events. She returned to the army on August 4, 2020, and has since remained loyal to the army. Eventually, she reached the position of High Command in 2024 and has aided the army in nearly every tournament, such as Legends Cup, October Horrors, and Christmas Chaos. Undoubtedly, this showed her unmatched dedication and perseverance as a member of RPF. In 2025, the army recognised her efforts, awarding her the title of RPF Rebel.
Additionally, MasterDS’s talents in art were recognised through a graphic contest organised by RPF. She additionally serves as the current Head of Branding for Club Penguin Armies, sharing her skills with the community. Her contributions to various graphics for tournaments and post thumbnails have made her not only a staple of her army but a staple of her surrounding community. Recently, she was awarded Best HCOM at the CPA Winter Awards, highlighting her long-term loyalty and service to the Rebels.

To find out more about her time with the Rebels, Club Penguin Armies reached out to MasterDS for an exclusive interview.
What or who inspired you to become an HCOM in RPF?
It wasn’t a specific person that inspire me to become an HCOM but more so the entire team during my time as a troop. I kept watching them prepare so many parties and organize so many events that eventually I felt like I wanted to to do my share for the server.
What are some of your favourite memories?
There isn’t a specific memory that comes to mind from that question but I always adored seeing the army coming together during important battles, whether it was for tournaments or wars, we would always fight the good fight!
Do you have any advice for upcoming HCOM members?
If you set your mind to it, you can do it. Don’t let your doubts be the anchor that stops you from achieving what you want. Being part of HCOM is a collection of individual ideas that are brough to life through teamwork. Don’t be afraid to let your voice be known or it won’t mean much if you’re in the team.
What are your aspirations for the future of the Rebels?
I hope that our army will continue to grow in the coming months and that more people decide to stay so that we can build an even greater community, as well as greater numbers to win more tournaments in the future!
What’s the most difficult part of running a successful army like RPF?
I think the most difficult part is the attention that an army like RPF can attract. Especially with big armies, trouble can arise anywhere from within that can attract contempt from other armies, which can then affect moral within the army. So, I would say one of the most crucial things in running RPF is keeping the moral of troops, especially during controversial moments when the entire community is pitted against you.
The community always appreciates her efforts, and surely we can expect a lot from MasterDS over the years. She has shown great loyalty and dedication toward RPF and CPA and evidently enjoys growing along the years with her team. What do you think the future holds for MasterDS and RPF? Who would you like to see interviewed next?
