Christmas Chaos is an annual tournament that takes place every year in December. This year marks fifteen years since the beginning of this tournament, with a total of eleven armies participating. The Semifinals round of Christmas Chaos XV commenced this past weekend. Four armies fought for a place in the grand final, but only two moved on to the next round. Let’s look closer at who dominated in the Semifinals battles.

ALIENS VS WATER VIKINGS

Aliens took the win by being more consistent overall, with better coverage, cleaner forms, and higher activity throughout the battle. Water Vikings had some strong moments, especially early on, and Room 1 was very even with both sides trading good coverage and solid moves. However, as the battle went on, WV was often slower to transition and their forms became harder to read. Aliens stayed more awake, defended well, and were quicker to react, which helped them control Rooms 2 and 3. By keeping steady pressure on WV and covering their movements more often, Aliens were able to pull ahead and secure the win.

Winner – Aliens

REBEL PENGUIN FEDERATION VS army of club penguin

Rebel Penguin Federation edged out the win by staying more steady and put together as the battle went on. Room 1 was extremely close, with both sides moving at the same speed and matching sizes, but Army of Club Penguin forms were a bit cleaner and they controlled more space, which gave them the first room. In Room 2, RPF clearly stepped up and had some strong stretches, but both armies were covering each other well and trading control, so neither side really pulled ahead and the room ended in a tie. Room 3 was where RPF started to look more confident, moving slightly faster and using clearer, more effective forms to keep pressure on ACP. In overtime, ACP had good moments, especially near the chatbar, but RPF did a better job spotting gaps, responding to moves, and holding key parts of the room. RPF was able to secure the overall win.
