As the rest of the army community thrives throughout this festive season, the Void Troops and SWAT have been in conflict. Let’s take a look at the background of these two armies, what led them to engage in war, and what the outcome was.
The Void Troops, founded by Logical and Justin in mid-April, are no stranger in the army war scene. They have participated in multiple wars against armies such as the Templars, the People’s Imperial Confederation , and the Dark Warriors. Shortly after their creation, in early May, the Void Troops declared war upon the Special Weapons and Tactics, where they emerged victorious.
SWAT, founded in 2009 by Ganger90 has witnessed some recent changes in their leadership and army structure with Operation Phoenix. The changes included the introduction of leaders AB and xDemon, who have both had former positions in VT High Command and leadership, respectively.
On December 15, the Void Troops declared war on SWAT, naming it the Shadow Siege War II. They were able to emerge victorious after being able to annex their single server, Cozy, where SWAT was unable to attend.
Club Penguin Armies was privileged to secure an interview with VT leader, Apryl to capture her perspective on the war and its outcome.
What got you to declare war on SWAT for a second time?
cozy has a nice name and we wanted it
Does xDemon’s recent departure play a role in this war?
yes
What do you think this loss means for SWAT?
hopefully encourages them to lock in and make the cpa map interesting
Does VT have any future goals now that this war is over?
rebrand into the butterbabys of cp and revoke ugly’s legend
It appears that VT stands strong following this conflict, and are proud of their growth and fierce campaign. Do you think VT will declare war against SWAT for a third time? How do YOU feel about their victory?

As long as Lego takes the supreme power in SWAT, its operations are essentially corrupt. Moreso, Lego still asserts maximum power in SWAT and hasn’t shown respect to his staff members equally. And, the new leadership, just as the previous one, still resorts to troopstealing.
