Throughout the spring season for the army community, a good number of things have happened in the span of a couple of months. In this post, we will recap the events from the Spring season, specifically from the months of March to May.

MARCH MADNESS X IS ANNOUNCED
Club Penguin Armies announces its yearly tournament, March Madness X, to the public. A total of 14 armies were put in line to battle every weekend. The event itself was the largest tournament to kick off for the year and would run for a total of 4 weeks, with a third-place match being scheduled on April 5th, with the Grand Finals match scheduled on April 6th.

INSEGNAMI JOINS ELITE GUARDIAN’S LEADERSHIP
On March 2nd, the Elite Guardians welcomed Insegnami into their leadership ranks. Insegnami was a familiar face to the Elite Guardians, having been a leader in the past during 2018 up until 2020 when the Elite Guardians had temporarily shut down.

Water Vikings Set Sail Back to Major Status
On March 2nd, the Water Vikings achieved their major status back, after almost a month-long return of the Vikings. This came after their initial shutdown in January, but the Vikings would later return in February the following month.

Daniel20448 Promoted to ACP Leader
The Army of Club Penguin welcomes Daniel20448 into its ranks. Daniel had helped create the Silver Empire, another notable army in the community, before retiring later on in 2020, but not fully leaving the community. Years later, he would join the Army of Club Penguin and assist in its leadership ranks.

Doritos and SWAT Re-Ally
On March 3rd, the Doritos and SWAT announced their rekindling of allyship between both armies. Subzero addresses that this allyship comes back to light as the Doritos showed support and brotherhood to the Agents, amongst the difficulties that SWAT had faced with the army community.

Help Force Celebrates 7th Anniversary
The Help Force celebrates their 7th anniversary on March 13, solidifying their status and remembering the past of their army, but also appreciating the many years ahead of them.

Templars Celebrate 7th Anniversary
On April 6th, the Templars celebrate their 7th anniversary. The Templars were founded by Xing and have been a large, notable, and memorable army for the community.

March Madness X Concludes
March Madness X comes to an end on April 6th, with the Doritos ending in the Third Place segment, and the Rebel Penguin Federation finishing off in the Grand Finals segment, up against the Help Force.

In a heartfelt letter, Mare resigns from her Administration position on April 21st from Club Penguin Armies, addressing her thank you’s to the community, before passing the torch down to the next generation.

PIC Announces Closure Amidst A Series of Events
The People’s Imperial Confederation announces its closure to the community amidst a series of events within the army community, with the sudden retirement of a leader and a controversial promotion of another. Sidie9 closes the army down and concludes its fourth generation.

Club Penguin Armies Presents Around the World Cup II
On May 5th, Club Penguin Armies announces the Around The World Cup for the second year, a challenge for all armies to be tested as they put their armies into different time zones to battle other armies, a new experiment for those who are only accustomed to one timezone.

AISHA LEAVES THE DORITOS
On May 17th, Aisha announces her retirement from the Doritos. Being a long-time Doritos veteran, this was shocking to much of the community, but Aisha continues to inspire the community months later with her leadership tactics and skills that she has passed down.

Being one of the Water Vikings’ longest-lasting members, Claire suddenly announces her retirement from the Water Vikings leadership, ready for her next move in her army career.

The Spring was a very eventful season, and so all the events that happened couldn’t be fit into one post without this column being incredibly long.
