On November 16, the community witnessed the birth of a new army. That is no other than the Hog Riders of Club Penguin.

The army’s Beginnings
On November 16, the Hog Riders of Club Penguin appeared for the first time. At 9:47 am EST, the army leader Escot announced the army’s first event in the #opening-events channel in Club Penguin Armies. It was planned to happen on the same day at 2pm EST. The army grew quickly within those few hours.

Along with Escot, it is led by Yoni773, Stevos, Skydorino, Cl3udyx, Spin and Pingo. It is a strong lineup containing several notable members. Escot is currently a leader in the Water Vikings, so he already has leadership experience. Similarly, both Yoni and Pingo have opened their own armies in the past, the Army of Yoni773 and the Boxmen of Boxland. Additionally, Pingo also has war experience after BoB declared war on the Rebel Penguin Federation back in the summer. Apart from them, Stevos and Spin have also held high ranks in armies, currently serving in the WV’s high command.
The opening event
The event ended up happening at 2pm EST. It was a successful event, with 10 hog riders showing up. They have not hosted any event after that as they probably celebrate the achievement. We are waiting to see their next moves, along with how they will perform in this week’s Top Ten.

Seems like the army was created from a sudden thought Escot had and immediately had its first event. The leaders are satisfied with their opening event and seem to have several plans for the future. Only time will tell what achievements this army will get. Did you like the HRCP creation story and theme? Do you expect them to join a war against another army?
