The Fire Vikings hit their first anniversary mark over the weekend. Let us learn more about the history of this army, and dig into their event and future plans for the army.

The Fire Vikings were founded by Yellow Typer on November 16, 2024. The army did not last very long into its career, finding itself merged into the Dark Pirates and disappearing from the community. After some time, however, the former leaders decided to reopen the army, now for a new era, on February 16, 2025.
Recent Fire Vikings Event
The army participated in many tournaments and battles against other Small/Medium armies. On November 5, an announcement came out from the army creator, Yellow Typer, announcing the army’s upcoming anniversary event. This event marks the celebration of the first complete year of the history of the army.
The anniversary event itself was held on November 16, the week after the announcement. They saw a surprising total of 13 players online to celebrate the army’s achievements throughout the year.
Club Penguin Armies approached Yellow Typer for an interview to learn more about the plans for the future of the army and get more insight into the anniversary event.
Congratulations on your 1 year! What are you feeling at the moment as your army reaches this milestone in its career?
Honestly, it feels incredible. When we brought the Fire Vikings back, we had no idea how far we could push things in just a year. Seeing the army not only survive but grow, compete, and make a name for itself has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my CPA career. I’m proud, I’m grateful, and I’m excited for everything still ahead of us. I do have to give props to my legends and current leaders because they are doing an amazing job with leading and I am very proud of them.
In the last year, what achievements has your army hit that you would like to highlight for the rest of the community?
We’ve hit quite a few achievements that I’m extremely proud of. We revived this army for the second gen and kept it going even through the defacements, pushed into consistent top-ten leaderboard, and competed in major battles against some of the strongest armies in the community (We totally got destroyed but it was still fun). We’ve built a dedicated staff team, and established a reputation for resilience and creativity. Every event, every recruit, and every battlefield moment helped shape who we are today.
Are there any future goals for your army that you wish to see be achieved before your next anniversary?
I can’t really tell ya what the leadership’s goal is right now as I currently don’t know but if I had to guess then it’s probably the same as last time. Become one of the most dominant s/m armies in the community then one day, push for major.
Is there anything else you wish to add or say to your troops and the army community?
I want to give a huge thanks to every Viking who’s stepped into our halls this past year. Whether you attended one event or a hundred, you helped shape this army. I also want to thank our allies, neutral, and enemies for supporting us, challenging us, and keeping the game alive. The Fire Vikings are only just getting started and this year is going to be a better year for FV because we will continue to grow until we can’t anymore. The Fire Vikings will not waver.
