Light Troops Declare War
On November 16, 2014, Light Troops declared war on Chaos Army after losing the Halloween Bash Finale, both maxing 20+. However, they pulled ahead with a 25+ turnout, defeating the Light Troops. LT leader Waterkid publicly expressed his anger over “unfairness” in the competition and gathered his troops for retaliation against the Chaos Army. This emotional tension soon escalated into a formal declaration of war, with LT raiding Chaos Army’s capital, Snow Board. The Chaos Army responded in retaliation with a practice battle announcement. However, the post was later updated, at which point Light Troops declared it wasn’t a war but rather a show of dominance.

Golden Troops Close Down
On November 16, 2014, Max, the leader of the Golden Troops, announced the official closure of the army following what he described as a conflicting week. The Golden Troops had returned to the Club Penguin Army Central rankings as they achieved 6th place, showing some strength and dedication, only to crumble in trying to uphold their rank on the Top Ten after. Frustrated by the lack of activity with his leadership partners, Max accused them of failing to assist in important battles and showing up to practice. He specifically mentioned their unscheduled practice battle against the Golds and highlighted the army’s lack of coordination. Despite them having a strong start and the promise shown by recruits, this era of the Golden Troops ended in its demise.

As time flies, dates like November 16th remind the army community of the foundations and memories that have shaped the community that we love and dedicate our time to. Whether through wars or celebrations, every moment improves our understanding of the community’s legacy and reputation.
