With each passing month comes many memorable moments, but deciding which ones deserve to be considered as the “top moments” is no easy task. The Club Penguin Armies staff team hosts a monthly vote to determine the “Top Five Moments” of the month. With Summer ending, and the September Drop season starting, September reflected an active community, regardless. Featuring many activities such as the conclusion of the Mapping the Map summit, and the attempted World War X against the Rebel Penguin Federation, it was a very controversial month indeed. Without further ado, let us reveal the top five moments for September.
5. Galactic Alliance Shatters: Aliens Cut Ties with RPF

The Rebel Penguin Federation witnessed a month marked with a lot of chaos and controversies that followed, consisting of Top Ten deductions, discontinuation of alliances, and declarations of war. Following the exposé that unfolded on RPF, the Aliens put an abrupt end to their alliance with the Rebel Penguin Federation, citing mishandling of the situation by the Rebels as the reason for the termination of their alliance. Do you think that with the Rebels rectifying their mistakes, we will see this alliance re-established?

4. Viking Shift: Cobra Off and Mato Promoted to WV Leader

On September 7, 2025, SavageCobra unexpectedly announced his resignation from the Water Vikings leadership, leaving behind a lionized legacy. He was best known for leading the army through a period of unstoppable dominance and glory, most notably pulling off incredible numbers during Legends Cup XV. Following his departure, Mato took his position during the Army’s Hall of Fame Ceremony, earning his ranks through dedication and quickly becoming a stellar member of the wave.

3. Kira Promoted to Editor-in-Chief, Vesta Ranks Up to Associate Editor

On September 30, the community saw a substantial change in its media time. For the first time since the beginning of August, we saw Editor promotions. Specifically, the excellent Kira was promoted to Editor in Chief, serving alongside Diwix. Since joining the Reporting Department in January, Kira has proved herself to be an invaluable asset, as one of the most committed, hardest-working members of the department. Her promotion to this prestigious position comes as no shock. Alongside Kira’s promotion, a new face on the scene, VESTA, was promoted to Associate Editor. From the day he joined CPA as a Reporter, VESTA has constantly proved himself by earning speedy promotions and consistently delivering an impeccable standard of work, so it only makes sense that he will now go on to train future reporters.

2. Incoming Call: Wii Phone Is On The Line

wii phone is new in the army community, having been opened by former Doritos member Lort533 on September 18. The wii phones acquired a size of 12, registering their army in the league. Named after an Internet meme regarding the Wii Phone, the wii phones aim to be “a calm, typical S/M army”. Shortly after their inauguration, they also formed alliances with the Star Force and the Romans.
1. The White Order Alliance Launches War Against RPF Following Controversies

On Wednesday, September 17, The White Order alliance hosted their opening event, registering in the army league shortly afterwards. An army consisting of members from 6 Small/Medium armies, alongside the Void Troops. Within the span of minutes, the VT-Help Force conflict comes to a close, and VT transfers TWO 8 freeland. From here, TWO declares war on the Rebel Penguin Federation, following an exposé shedding light on controversies in the army, dubbing it “World War X”. As the war developed, it became evident that RPF would win, as by September 19, TWO stopped attending battles. The war continued until September 22, with a final score of 9-0-0 RPF.

The month of September was a rocky one for some armies. With all controversies now concluded, we hope to have a more festive and joyful month in October. As September saw many changes in individual armies and CPA, we now look at how these moments will affect armies in the future. What was your favourite moment from September, and why?
