Back To Void: Void Troops Fall To Small/Medium

A once ground-shaking army that shone fabulously, Void Troops, has fallen to Small/Medium status. Let us take a journey through the decisions surrounding the army that may have contributed to this decline.

Logical and Justin, aka Kyle104, founded the Void Troops, one of the youngest armies in the current community, in April 2025. The Void Troops quickly emerged as one of the formidable forces in the community. Though they have had their fair share of controversy, their leadership has collected victories and land to their name. Some missteps, such as breach of war terms and disqualification from Around the World Cup II, were made, highlighting tension and making their growth harder to sustain.

The Void Troops were also quick to form alliances with armies such as the Help Force, Templars, and many other armies to develop a strong foundation that they continued to grow from. Furthermore, the army was involved in many conflicts this year, such as the war against Shadow Legionaries, The Bastille Vanguard, and, recently, Dark Warriors.

Following an unfortunate defacement of their Discord server, Ugly had been inducted on June 14 as VT leader, and Justin was removed. One of their most notable events occurred during Ugly‘s retirement, when the army had amassed a total of 41 troops, the highest number they had ever achieved so far. Ugly was also the first-ever VT legend and has continued to advise and support the army even after he retired.

Their most notable conflict was their war against the Doritos of Club Penguin. This war ultimately led them to capture DCP’s capital, Summit. After the 12 invasions from VT on DCP, VT issued a force treaty on their enemies. The Doritos were not able to defend their servers, no-showing in almost all battles. Rapidly gaining momentum when they first announced their arrival in the community, Void Troops were able to maintain a size of at least 20+, allowing them to attain Major status.

Nonetheless, the once major player fell to Small/Medium classification this past Sunday, even failing to host events for a week. Regardless, they are seemingly eager to return with full force, as they have just announced a comeback event. In the announcement, Dbsa mentions VT will be more dominant than ever on the battlefield, hyping the army in hopes of returning to its former glory.

VT Comeback Event Announcement

Club Penguin Armies interviewed one of the Void Troops’ leaders, Kira, to find out how the Void troops will arise once more from the ashes.

What were the primary factors, in your opinion, contributing to this drop?

i think an overall lack of activity in the army with people (including me) being busy with school leading to a brief hiatus in events as we reorganize ourselves with the goal of remerging stronger.

What is your strategy for returning as a major army?

We have been working closely with hcom and we have new plans to ensure that vt grows once more.

Do you have anything else to add?

VT drops to Small/Medium

Though they have fallen to Small/Medium status, undoubtedly, this will not be the last time we see them. Accomplishing a Major status is no easy feat, especially now. However, Kira is a leader with compassion and strength for her army. By collaborating with her co-leaders, they are confident that they will be able to become a Major army once again. Do you think VT can reclaim Major status anytime soon? Do you think the VT will be able to redeem itself and rise on the charts once more?
