On September 13, a new leader was announced to the higher command of Void Troops. Having been a loyal troop from the army’s beginning, Apryl now gets her shot at the top of the Void Troops community. Let us explore her journey to the top and what her goals are for VT.

As a new addition to the Club Penguin Armies roster, the Void Troops are an army with much history to write. They originally joined the league in April, and despite being relatively new, VT has already generated significant press around the community. From high-profile wars and multiple CPA awards among their staff to achieving Major status quickly, the army has gained a high level of respect within the community. Few armies achieve such rapid success, demonstrating that the Void Troops’ leadership has been doing things right since the very beginning.

Unfortunately, however, VT had seen one of its most prominent leaders, Ugly, retire from leadership. As a highly seasoned veteran of the army community, his experience was surely a great influence in the army’s uprising. In his announcement, though, he stated it was time for new generations of VT to take the spotlight. At a perfect time to seize such an opportunity, Apryl now steps in to lead the Void Troops towards a new future. As someone who already sits within the army’s Hall of Fame, her potential has been far established and recognized. Additionally, the 2025 Fortune Gala also saw Apryl nominated in the Best Higher Command category. Overall, it might be obvious to say that the choice for VT’s new leader position was a clear one.
With Apryl as VT leader, this new era of the army promises to be exciting to watch. Being at the top of a Major army that is still growing can never be easy, and the Void Troops already boast some prestigious feats within CPA. The bar is set high for Apryl, but her dedication shows she is fully prepared to meet the challenge. Quoted as a born leader, the Void Troops now fill in the gap left by Ugly with a promising new prospect.

How does the moment feel? Was this a goal of yours when you first joined Void Troops?
It’s actually such a cool feeling. When I first began my journey here at VT, I didn’t really expect ranking up to leadership. But as time passed by and I really immersed myself in the community, leadership became more of a noble goal that I’ve now been gladly able to achieve.
What plans do you have for VT now that you’re the leader?
integrate a bot in VT that has all the IDs of the VT HCOM, automatically banning them from the server

Lastly, how do you plan to stand out from other leaders in CPA? What will set you apart?
I think as a leader, I can stand out by leaving my impact in the community here in VT. I am to leave a true legacy, growing the community and having real bonds with real people here. It’s a place that truly has my heart <3
