Club Penguin Armies as KanYe West Albums

Club Penguin armies each have their own personality, style, and legacy. Some of them are more chaotic, some are always performing consistently good and there are armies that like to experiment new things all the time. The same can be said about KanYe’s albums through this legendary career, so let’s look into which army represents which Ye album the best, and why.

Army of club penguin
The college Dropout

The College Dropout is the first album Ye has released in his career. This album is not only the start for a rapper but also a huge game changer for the entire genre. Similarly to TCD, the Army of Club Penguin was also the first in its own category and also has made a big impact in the army community. Lastly, one more common thing between TCD and ACP is that they are both timeless, they still thrive today even if not as much as they used to.

Underground Mafias ArmyYeezus

Yeezus is one of, if not the most divisive album among the fans in the first half of his career. When the album came out many people labeled  is simply as “edgy”. This is why I decided to match it with the Underground Mafias Army. Other correlation can be that both of these entities impacted the newer era of the community, Yeezus is basically the foundation of the mid-2010s hip-hop while UMA is the founding army of the Club Penguin Private Server army community.

Templars of Club PenguinJesus is king

Jesus Is King and Templars is probably the best match you will see on this list. Jesus Is King, the 9th studio album created by Kanye West in 2019. This album was sadly a disappointment. The theme and the idea were great, the religious approach was something we have expected to come but overall the execution was just not great. Just like the Templars, the album did have its moments, but overall I have to say both JIK and TCP are mediocre.

Rebel Penguin Federation – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is in my (and many other people’s) opinion is the greatest and most consistent Kanye album ever made. And the same can be said about Rebel Penguin Federation , many say it is the greatest army ever, and honestly they are not wrong. RPF has been consistently dominating Tournaments just like how MBDTF consistently had good songs. The best matches the best.

Water VikingsGraduation

Graduation, while objectively is not the best album it is my favourite album. The track list has iconic songs such as Flashing Lights, Homecoming, I wonder and honestly a lot more. The album only has a few, not even bad but just not as good tracks such as Drunk and Hot Girls or Big Brother. I would say, Water Vikings are similar. Not only is it my favourite army but it has many moments that other armies can only dream of, but just like Graduation WV also had struggles occasionally.

Doritos of Club PenguinDonda

Donda, the latest and probably the last great Kanye album in my opinion resembles DCP very well. Donda as an album is not perfect, and I think if we removed some tracks from the album it could have been much better. It was too much this way. I believe similar can be said about Doritos. The army and a lot of its elements were great but put together it was rather a mess.

SPECIAL WEAPONS AND TACTICSYE

Ye is rather an emotional rollercoaster than an album. Sadly overall it is hard to talk positively about it, but it did have amazing tracks such as Ghost town, but one good doesn’t make up for the many consistently mediocre, or even bad songs. Special Weapon and Tactics in my opinion is a similar case, the army had good moments, but especially lately it has just been consistently bad. The album’s cover art, just like the SWAT website is amazing tho.

While Kanye West’s albums and Club Penguin armies may seem like very disjunct worlds, I think making fun, senseless comparisons like this helps making the army media more fun and more diverse. Did you enjoy reading the post? Which Kanye West album is your favorite?
