Berlim Announces Departure From POA

On September 12, the founder of the Penguins of Agartha, Berlim, sadly stepped down from the army. As an army that made a serious turnaround from being a meme army, Berlim is responsible for much of the success at POA. Let us dive deeper into the announcement from Berlim and how POA plans to remedy the situation.

The Penguins of Agartha are a relatively new addition to the community, having only been founded in April of this year. Although they made their entrance into Club Penguin Armies in April, Berlim had been planning POA for the entire preceding month of March. He then officially launched POA on April 5, successfully bringing his plans to life. With an opening event that maxed 12 troops, the Penguins of Agartha made a strong first impression on the army community. The whole event was led by Berlim, who made it clear that he was more than capable of leading his own army.

In the weeks following their opening event, POA began to make steady progress as an army. Not even a full week later, the Penguins of Agartha would ally with Scarlet Republic while continuing to host community events. Always pushing forward, there was never a challenge Berlim wasn’t ready to take on with POA. His commitment to the overall community proved to be very massive. People with this type of passion are always a rarity, and POA was a great reflection of his talent. In a showcase of this fearsome bravery, POA declared war on the Crimson Sovereign. Conclusively, POA would come to win the war, and they would carry on their journey in CPA.

The Penguins of Agartha are pictured at Ski Village in an indescribable form. It appears they are in the middle of a Joke-Bomb, as characterized by their scattered positions and joke bubbles

Sadly, however, one of POA’s great assets to their community must go on break for some time. With a heartfelt announcement, Berlim outlines all the reasons along with expectations for POA going forward. Stating that his life is getting busier and he will no longer have time to lead, he has passed on the army to Doopus and Stv. There is no exact date for when Berlim will return; thus, the remaining leaders are tasked with continuing the legacy of the army.

Berlim has been a detrimental part in the kickstarting of the army, and so the community will be waiting for his return. Doopus and Stv are more than qualified to take on the challenge while he is gone, and it will be interesting to see what their sole influence will look like on the POA community. Overall, the army rests in good hands, and there should be no worry of POA operations pausing any time soon.

I will be stepping down from PoA leader, effectively now ,Hello, agarthians! It's been about 6 months with PoA, and in my opinion, we have been one of the most sucesfully s/m's. I even placed 3rd on best small medium army leader! Thank you all. Sadly, life has other plans. My activity has been decreasing, day by day, and my life is getting busier. On the 15th, i will stop having time to lead. Although it makes me sad, PoA will NOT end. You still have @doopus and @stv, which will be here for you all. (Doopus has been doing an amazing work, shot out to him). Starting now, i will step down from PoA, leaving the Leadership position for a while. If you have any issue, DM doopus or stv. They will make us even greater! But i will be back! Probably in November. Big shot out to: CPA Admins, PoA troops, Aliens, SR and TBV specially, Shinzo, Pato Astolfo, stv and specially Doopus. One last time for a while ~Berlim

Berlim’s official announcement to the Penguins of Agartha community

Wanting to learn more from Berlim, Club Penguin Armies reached out to him with an exclusive interview. We also contacted Doopus and Stv separately to see how they plan to lead POA going forward. Stv was unfortunately unable to answer.

BERLIM INTERVIEW

What emotions are you feeling as you step down from POA? Do you wish things were different?

Berlim: I honestly feel sad after stepping down. Life had other plans, and it was something I couldn’t change. If things could be different, I’d surely stay in the army.

Have you achieved everything you wanted with POA? How proud are you of your accomplishments?

Berlim: No, I didn’t. There is still a lot to achieve, but I feel like our army grew day by day. Top ten was never our focus, it was mainly tournaments and just for fun. PoA was supposed to be a meme army, but seeing the support of some people, I decided to make it go differently. August was an amazing month for us, with a great performance on summer blitz and 3rd best leader ofc, but I know there is more to achieve. with the status of PoA, i think berlim was a central figure of the army. he’s founded this thing, and even though he’ll likely (hopefully) return by the start of 2026, it still puts quite an unfillable hole in our “Board of Agartha”, since he was practically the decision finalist for practically all of our decisions so far. for him to be taking a break puts quite a large pressure on myself and stv, but we genuinely think we can continue growing the army as we’ve always planned. thus, i think his leave will affect PoA, but just not as much as people think

Lastly, will you ever return to CPA and POA, or does it all end here?

Berlim: I will surely come back, but I’m not controlling it. I will see what life wants for me, but i should be back in November, worst possible in December.

DOOPUS INTERVIEW

How close are you and Berlim? To what extent will his leave affect POA?

Doopus: berlim and i have gotten quite close in the past few months since i decided to join PoA, and i met him when winged hussars were active in around 2024. he got kicked from egcp and freshly landed into our army, but he showed an insane amount of potential as he’d constantly recruit and attend events quite frequently. we weren’t as close as we are now, but he was still someone that i heavily respected due to his drive in trying to increase the size of our army.

Did his announcement come as a surprise, or has POA planned for this?

Doopus: more so the latter. berlim is in that point of his life where he’s trying to expand from just playing video games and is trying to genuinely further his character as a human being, and we thought it was such a great thing that we actually encouraged him to take a break from CPA overall. but after summer blitz, berlim did tell us he’d be taking a break soon, and we agreed with that, and wished him the best of luck.

Finally, what are some of your goals as you continue to lead POA? Where can we expect POA to go from here?

Doopus: keep doin events.. job ain’t finished 👀 and the only way for PoA is up 🌟

Unfortunately, the Penguins of Agartha must do without their legendary founder for a while. All eyes are on Doopus and Stv to see if they can not only carry on Berlim’s legacy, but also foster and grow the community of POA, as entrusted by Berlim. Do you have anything you’d like to say to Berlim as he leaves? Will Stv and Doopus prove they have what it takes to carry on the POA community? When exactly do you think Berlim will make his return?
