The Review Fiasco: VT Wins War Against TCP

On August 11th, just days after their declaration, the war between the Void Troops and the Templars came to an end. Let us dig into this situation and see what cut this war so short, of what could’ve been for these two armies.

In the past few days, the Void Troops and the Templars have partaken in a couple of battles since their war was announced to the public, bringing the total to 16 battles. The final war score was 15-0-1 [W-T-L] in favor of the Void Troops. The war lasted a little more than one week, with the final battle being the invasion of Jerusalem.

In the final battle of the war against the Templars’ capital, although it was initially considered a victory for the Templars, the battle was later reevaluated, with Void Troops winning victory for the last server, officially bringing the war to a close. After VT submitted a review, the Head Judges determined that judging errors had occurred by the judges overseeing the battle. Thus, the day after, the Void Troops issued a force treaty against TCP.

Club Penguin Armies sat down with both Moon and Ugly for an exclusive interview to learn from both army leaders and to get their perspective after the war had ended.

It’s well known what the relationship between TCP and VT was like. Do you believe this war is going to bring a long-term strain on that relationship?

Moon: I do yes, with the way both sides are handling it, I highly doubt a VT and TCP alliance will ever be spoken about again.

Ugly: Oh yeah for sure. I doubt anyone would wanna ally TCP in the first place let alone VT going forward.

Do you believe the outcome of the war is what you initially thought would happen?

Moon: I did tell myself that I knew VT wouldn’t give the land back, but I hadn’t imagined that it’d play out like this.

Ugly: Yeah definitely, though we lost a battle and couldn’t make it 16-0-0 so that was disappointing.

How do you plan to move forward after this win/defeat for your army?

Moon: Oh yeah absolutely, this is one of the many losses Templars has taken, never that serious if we’re gonna be real. Look back, reflect, and look forward to continue growing.

Ugly: VT will continue to focus on growing and maintaining higher standards and competition battle wise.

What are some words of encouragement that you bring to your troops?

Moon: Some words of encouragement for my troops are that, don’t let this loss define Templars. We’ve lost bigger things and have always came back. Nobody keeps Templars down.

Ugly: Our troops are the soul of what makes this army special, the VT community never backs down and has shown time and time again we are one of the greatest.

Do you have anything to say to your other party?

Moon: Honestly only thing I’d say is that I’m sorry for the way things played out, and I wish both sides weren’t trying to rage bait each other, cause it’s clearly not working.

Ugly: I hope you seek professional help and change for the better.

It seems that the calm of the storm has just now occurred, as the strain of the relationship for both the Void Troops and the Templars seems to be there permanently, but for now, both armies seem to be accepting the fact of the way the war went. Do you believe this could be just the beginning of long-term wars between the two armies, or just a one-time thing?
