This week, we got to witness the long-awaited Finalists from the Legends Cup XV fight in the grand showdown. To gain some interesting opinions from the community, we decided to ask some members to share their opinions on the magnificent final battle that occurred.

This Saturday, the Rebel Penguin Federation and Aliens faced each other, head-to-head, in the grand finale of Legends Cup XV. Both armies battled, reaching sizes of up to 60. Both sides excelled in the first two rooms with creative tactics, strong formations, and quick execution. However, in the third room, the Aliens slowed and were overtaken by RPF’s larger size, leading to RPF’s dominance.
RPF vs. Aliens – Iceberg
Despite the size gap, the Aliens tied RPF in the second room with 69 to 43 penguins, yet RPF’s skill with fewer players prevailed, securing them this year’s Legends Cup victory. The Legends Cup has given us many surprises, twists, and turns, leading to a thrilling conclusion to an interesting tournament season.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to several community members to ask their opinions about the Legends Cup XV final battle.
What was your reaction to the finale of the Legends Cup XV?
Ugly, Void Troops Leader: The LC finals was pretty great this year, the entire tournament as a whole was amazing and saw a lot of new competition and exciting Semis as well. RPF were the favorites to win and the only one that could’ve taken that was WV but it couldn’t happen so I knew pretty early on RPF would probably win this. Regardless, Aliens also put up an amazing fight and despite the results it seemed very close. Amazing tournament overall.
Kira, VT Leader: aliens vs rpf was very interesting, seeing aliens in battle was quite interesting as they usually are not a battle heavy army and seeing rpf bring it their all which eventually led to their victory i will say aliens performed exceptionally well but i was expecting alot more especially from how highly anticipated this battle was, overall good work from both sides
Zooy, CC head : I was pretty sure RPF would win, but also there was that little voice telling me that Aliens could win; so it was a little bit of a disappointment. Still, it was an extremely entertaining tournament to watch and participate in, and I congratulate RPF on their victory. I do think the Legends’ Cup theme definitely helped create more energy around the tournament this year, so I think that’s pretty indicative that CPA is trying out new things; so I’m especially looking forward to the Summer Blitz. All in all, I believe that Aliens really showed how good they are on the wider army stage, considering they are often are more reserved and non-warring army, so that was definitely interesting to see. Especially with looking at the bracketology, it did seem the community was split between choosing the Aliens’ and RPF, with most of them predicting a 3-0 in either direction; so it was definitely a tight matchup and not as “destined to lose to RPF” as most people are saying. very kewl tourney, woot woot.
Gabi, RPF Leader: It was a really great battle that I’m glad that I got the chance to be part of. As always there were some rough spots but I’m glad RPF managed to pull through and get the win. It’s wonderul to bring Legends Cup back to our server since everyone worked so hard.
