The winds of change are sweeping through our community, bringing with them bold reforms and a renewed sense of direction. From transformative updates to the server map to decisive administrative improvements, these actions reflect the strength of Club Penguin Armies’ new era.
When Jojo Teri and I inaugurated our Administration era, we did so with a clear promise: the Golden Age Plan. It was a commitment to action, to results, and to a community that could thrive at its fullest potential. Today, we can proudly say that promises were made, promises were kept, and promises were fulfilled. The community is more active than ever before, with unprecedented engagement from our members and stronger communication channels with leaders across the army board. Media is as influential as ever, hitting 105 posts in July, and full Top Tens with more than twenty armies. This is the momentum we envisioned, and we are only getting started.
Nonetheless, we know that our work is far from finished. While we have made great strides, there remain areas where Club Penguin Armies must do better if we are to fully deliver on the promise we made to this community. One such area is the regulation and structure of our server map. The map is the heartbeat of our competitive community, and it must be managed with clear and objective sets of rules and strategic foresight. We are committed to implementing clearer rules, less enforcement in order to allow armies to play more freely, and more dynamics to ensure that the competition remains engaging for all armies.
We also recognize the current scarcity of wars, the central element of what makes the army community what is it. Wars are in its core and in its foundations. Our Administration is already in discussions with leaders to encourage the reignition of warfare in CPA. This is one of our long-term objectives.
Keeping this in mind, we convened an Army Board meeting on last Wednesday, August 6, bringing together army leaders and Head Judges. This was a decisive moment to align our priorities, address the issues that have been holding us back in the current server map and in CPA as a whole, and set the tone for the next phase of Club Penguin Armies. Out of this meeting came concrete plans, that will revamp the regulations on our map, reenergize competitive spirit, and restore the intensity that defines the army community.
Below is a summary of the Administrative decisions that are being officialized, effective immediately.
NEW SERVER MAP
For the first time in the history of Club Penguin Armies, our server map will not simply be a static display of territories, it will come alive with a fully integrated currency and economy system, complemented by mobility units such as ships and planes. This is a revolutionary step forward, one that will fundamentally change the way armies strategize, compete, and engage with one another. No longer will the map be limited to simple conquests; now, resources, trade, and transportation will shape the battlefield in ways never before possible.
The Administration has assembled a specialized development team tasked with designing and implementing the new server map. We have already begun internal planning and will continue to schedule frequent army board meetings to ensure the map’s reformation meets the highest standards.
But we are not stopping at innovation alone, we are also addressing the overregulations behind it. In the near future, the Administration will initiate a full re-vote on all existing map rules. Our goal is to cut through the layers of unnecessary bureaucracy that have hindered warfare in the past, replacing them with clear, efficient, and fair rules that promote action, encourage competition, and keep the map dynamic. New rules will also need to be voted on to fully accomodate the usage of currency and mobility units.
new land opening
While the new server map is under development, the current map wil remain unlocked. For the time being, army board representatives agreed to keep Wilderness Zones and Territory Tiers in the map.
In addition, following our Summer 2025 @ CPA plans, we will be releasing 18 extra servers in a separate content to stimulate warfare. Land will open on Saturday, August 16, at 9 AM EDT(EST).
We would like to remind that new armies joining the map will be subject to a 7-day grace period, meaning they cannot declare war nor be declared on. Obviously, this does not apply for armies that already are on the map.
CPAB ROOM CAP
REVOKING THE NO TOLERANCE FOR INTERFERENCE POLICY
Effective immediately, the “No Tolerance for Interference” policy is revoked. While well-intentioned, this policy unintentionally fostered an atmosphere of mistrust among our army leaders. Its intent was to protect decision-making processes from undue pressure, harassment, or targeted actions, such as blackmailing, ensuring the Executive Producer and other Administrators could serve without fear of interference. At the time, this measure was necessary to safeguard the integrity of our team.
Now, the current Administration believes it is no longer needed. Our server already has clear, enforceable rules that protect all members — not just Administrators — from harassment, or any similar offenses. These protections remain firmly in place, ensuring fairness and safety for everyone in the community. The Golden Age demands confidence, not suspicion. We apologize for any ill-sentiments sparked because of this enacted policy. Thankfully, this time is now over.
REQUESTING FOOTAGE TO YOUTUBE DEPARTMENT
During the latest army board meeting, many armies have requested that CPA’s YouTube Department ceded raw footage of events recorded by our team. Thus, the Administration spoke with Head YouTubers to discuss the matter. While all footage that is recorded is invariably published in our YouTube channel, we realized that armies may want footage for history archiving purposes, or, in case of important battles, better assess their performance without edits in the final video.
Therefore, effective immediately, the YouTube Department will now cede raw footage of recorded events, upon request, after 24 hours that event was recorded.
The Administration is looking forward to explore brand new horizons in Club Penguin Armies with this new server map project. This may very well revolutionize the game we have played for so long. In advance, we thank all army leaders for putting their trust on this organization and believing we will always fight for a not only stable league, but a thriving one.
