As a major army leaving their mark in the community, the Void Troops witnessed an addition to their leadership, Antman. Today, we dive into who Antman is and what he brings to the leadership table.

Background
The Void Troops have recently deemed themselves a force to be reckoned with in the army community. Formed by Logical and Justin/Kyle104 on April 27, they sparked things off with an opening event with 20 penguins in attendance. Ever since, the army has engaged in multiple wars and have had decent placements on the weekly Top Ten rankings.

Antman began his army journey joining the Ice Warriors in 2008, but never picked up on activity until 2010. He’s been able to pick up leadership experience after leading multiple armies, such as Special Weapons and Tactics and the Sun Troops. During the Original Club Penguin era, he’s also been able to serve in other armies such as the Water Vikings, the Army of Club Penguin and the Doritos of Club Penguin.
In the Club Penguin Private Server era, Antman returned with Owlcity207 and Orange to lead another generation of Chaos, which lasted for 2 months. Most recently, Antman has returned to the Club Penguin Army scene as a veteran, currently in the Void Troops. On July 12, his co-leader Ugly, announced his leadership promotion, marking changes in the Void Troops’ community.

How do you feel reaching this milestone in your army journey?
This is a milestone I’ve reached before, but this time it’s much different. I have amazing HCOM and Staff around me as well as three very capable co-leaders. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better team and I’m super excited to keep working with them.
From your experiences as a leader, what are the most crucial qualities for becoming a successful leader?
Engagement and support. These aren’t really qualities, but rather an approach to becoming a successful leader. Genuinely just be a part of your community. The most liked leaders are those who make an effort to connect with their army. Go out of your way to check in with your troops. Ask what their goals are, listen to their ideas, and provide guidance on ways they can continue to grow.
Are there any long-term goals you have for the army under your leadership?
Get the rest of my co-leaders army legend. Logical, Ugly, and Kira all deserve it. I’ll do my best to make that happen.
What special message do you have for the aspiring leaders of our community?
Be yourself and do it your own way. You don’t have to copy a specific blueprint or follow in another person’s footsteps. The best leaders are those who follow their own path. Being authentic builds trust, and that trust in turn builds a strong community.

Having shaped legacies in armies like Chaos and the Ice Warriors, his strategic prowess is undeniable. But can his seasoned leadership propel the Void Troops to new heights?
