The first 2 battles of the most challenging tournament of the year, the Legends Cup XV, have taken place. Two armies have made it past the qualifiers and are set to compete in the quarterfinals next weekend. Let’s review the results of the two qualifiers’ battles and see who moved on.

The Baccarat Conference Qualifiers round of the Legends Cup XV concluded this weekend. During this, four armies fought for a place in the quarterfinals. There were some interesting battles, all worthy of such an important tournament! This weekend, the Void Troops faced the Fire Vikings, and the Water Vikings went against the Scarlet Republic.
Void Troops vs. Fire Vikings
The Void Troops completely dominated the Fire Vikings during this battle, with FV struggling significantly throughout. In Room 1, it was apparent that VT outnumbered FV with sizes being 13-4, and they did well while keeping clean forms, and placing emphasis on FV’s AFKs and failed coordination. In Room 2, there was little deviation from the previous room, and VT continued to lead in size, while FV was not organized enough viably resist. In room 3, VT entered the room quickly, made clean formations, and covered the room completely, while FV lagged and spammed snowballs in an attempt at defense. Due to size, speed, and execution, the Void Troops won all three rooms.

Water Vikings vs Scarlet Republic
The battle between the Water Vikings and the Scarlet Republic was somewhat one-sided. In room 1, the Vikings were dominant and had a size advantage of 61 to 7, making clean and neat formations, while SR’s formations were hard to see. Both armies struggled with AFKs, but WV held dominance throughout the room. In room 2 also went similarly, as WV maintained their size advantage throughout the room, utilizing it to make fun and creative forms. In room 3, WV entered first and quickly moved into an A form that then ultimately turned into a double V form. Even with visible AFKs, WV looked stronger form-wise by showing creativity and overall strength. SR, however, suffered with repeated tactics and weak formations. With superior size and stronger execution from the Water Vikings, they managed to win all three rooms.
