Overview
As the Legends Cup approaches, the Army of Club Penguin and the Water Vikings participated in an exciting practice battle on June 14, 2025! While this battle between allies is important for both armies, this three-room battle was important for them to train before the tournament, giving both armies practice in formations, tactics, and speed.
Room 1 – ARMY OF Club Penguin
WV came in first, and then ACP entered a few seconds after. ACP made a backwards L formation fairly quickly, while WV took longer figuring out the placement for their left arrow. Even though they had the size lead on WV (18-28), ACP had neater formations and were more organized in their movements. Right around the 02 mark, WV changed their formation and cleaned up their sloppiness with their diagonal. However, ACP kept their lines tight and controlled speed for transitions as well.
Both armies went back and forth on bombing one another between times. ACP reformed into a UT formation and WV into a plus formation. Sizes balanced down to 24-21 WV as time progressed. In the final minute, both armies continuously covered one another. However, ACP had sharper forms, quicker movements, and more efficient tactics than WV, allowing them to take the win in this room.

Room 2 – army of Club Penguin
Once again, WV went first, and ACP was right behind them, as usual. ACP immediately formed an X, and WV formed a trident. Both armies were tight early, although ACP had better speed and coverage. WV lost some momentum due to 3 or 4 troops being AFK. Several ACP troops had connection problems during the battle, which led to them having to relog multiple times.
Armies bombed each other back and forth, with ACP changing from X to a plus, and WV changing from a triangle to a UT. WV’s vertical lines struggled with ACP’s covering tactics. Sizes were close at 23-22 WV, but due to ACP’s speedier tactics, better covering, and fewer AFK troops, they were able to cover most of the room and claim victory on round 2.

Room 3 – ARMY OF Club Penguin
The final room started with a room snipe, but ACP got the first room and shaped the V while WV made a UV shape. Both armies scored 20-24 to WV. WV threw a waterfall bomb, and ACP rendered across the room and formed a clean H. WV’s W formation looked messy in comparison.
ACP did a whirlpool next, and then a right arrow formation, while WV bombed and slowly made an X shape. The official sizes favored WV, but ACP appeared larger on the field because of clean formations and faster tactical performance. They were consistent performers throughout, earning them a third and final room win.

Both armies practiced hard in this pre-tournament battle in advance of the Legends Cup. ACP won 3-0 based on speed and clean formations, and both sides received good training for the tournament itself. Which army do you think will make the biggest splash in the Legends Cup?
