Billy’s beginnings
Billy Bawb joined the Templars of Club Penguin in June 2024. Billy first demonstrated his loyalty during the war against Special Weapons and Tactics in that same month, where he became dedicated to the army, attending many events and becoming extremely active. In that same month, Billy Bawb was promoted by Sidie9 to a moderator rank. Billy quickly mastered recruiting and other staff-related traits, which set him apart from the staff, earning Billy even more promotions. In just two months, he climbed to the rank of third-in-command. Billy continued racing through the ranks and got promoted to Grand Prior on December 26, 2024.

Tournaments and Wars
Billy has endured many wars and tournaments since his enlistment. Billy’s first tournament was Legends Cup XIV. Following this, the Templars went to war against the Help Force, dubbed the War of Second Helpings. Following this war’s conclusion, the Secret Service declared war on the Crusaders. Following the Templars’ loss in this war, as HCOM helped to aid inducted leaders Echo, Moon, Maguro, and Caracal to help rebuild the army after many internal issues the army faced, including a drop to small/medium status. Despite this, the army continued pushing and working to regrow.
TCP VS. HF War Invasion
In October 2024, TCP, in the midst of struggles, participated in Project Conquest: Blood Bowl. Despite their loss, it marked a new start for TCP. The Templars also participated in the Christmas Chaos XIV tournament, where despite their loss against the Aliens continued to motivate Billy and the Templars to keep pushing. As leader, Billy helped the Templars faced the Army of Club Penguin, and despite a loss, it demonstrated the growth of the army under his leadership. Recently, the Templars won the S/M portion of the Around The World Cup II tournament under Billy, demonstrating how much the army had grown since Billy’s beginnings and emphasizing new beginnings for the army.

RETIREMENT
On June 14, Billy Bawb officially retired from Templars leadership, marking a year of service and dedication to the army. Billy held a retirement ceremony to honor his service to the army and to mark a new start for the army.

What was the main reason behind your retirement?
The main reason behind my retirement is that I have a lot of things going on in real life and don’t really have time to lead an army.
What are some memorable moments that you have from your time there?
Some memorable moments I have here are the friends I have who keep Templars running today, aka Echo and Moon. They are both great leaders, and I’m looking to see Templars continue to grow.
Do you plan to stay involved in armies in any way, or is this a complete retirement from the community?
I do not plan to be involved in any army, but I will still be here for tourneys.
What advice would you give to aspiring army leaders and members of the community?
The advice I give is to do what you can and don’t go over, anything you put your mind to can happen, you just need to work for it.
