Templars and TBV End Alliance With Doritos After Controversies Spark

Amid several diplomatic changes and much controversy, the Templars and the Bastille Vanguard end their alliance with Doritos. The situation gains seriousness following this new development.

Over the last few days, several incidents have raised concerns about the Doritos of Club Penguin, an army currently engaged in a war with the Void Troops, titled ‘the Silencing of the Mob’. More recently, the Club Penguin Armies administration wrote in opposition to these incidents. Adding to these events, the Templars of Club Penguin and the Bastille Vanguard have dissolved their 7-month alliances with the Doritos.

Templars’ declaration of alliance termination with the Doritos

On May 31, the Templars finally ended their alliance with the Doritos following an announcement on Discord and their website. The next day, on June 1, the Vanguards released a post on their website addressing the situation. The Vanguards, who are already on a hiatus from the army community, also concluded the alliance with the Doritos.

The Templars reasoned that the diplomatic change was a consequence of doxxing and other cybercrime. The Bastille Vanguard, inspired by this move, made a similar decision. The day after the Templars ceased the alliance, Doritos legend Carter denied the accusations in a post, attributing them as “baseless”.

Controversy Explained

The controversy began in late May, when the present VT leader, Kira, was on the brink of being removed from the Doritos leadership. There was much internal turmoil before and after the leadership change finally took place. DCP leader BScharbach2 was accused of poor leadership skills, criticized for making up a “corrupt leadership”. In the post by Templars, they also suggest the involvement of Doritos’ Legends Council. The situation became worse when BScharbach2 attempted to doxx Spotty, a Head Judge and Community Committee member. This event finally brought the Templars and the Bastille Vanguard to a binding resolution and ultimately ended the alliance with DCP.

On the other hand, the Doritos claimed that Kira’s removal was justified after discovering she was seeking betrayal. In the post by Doritos, they continue slandering TCP creator Xing, accusing him of having previously engaged in inappropriate sexual activity. DCP also denied allegations regarding the doxxing, claiming they never participated in the act.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to DCP leader BScharbach2, TCP leader Echo, and TBV leader Aucraia to learn more. BScharbach2 did not respond, so we approached DCP leader Megha instead.

Do you feel that your reason to end the alliance with the Doritos is well justified and measured?

Echo: Oh yeah it really was. We’ve stuck with DCP through many allegations and drama but the proof here was one we couldn’t ignore or justify. I can’t really be allied with an army that is going to be doxxing people just because they want to annoy another person.

Aucraia: I feel like it’s justified. I don’t wanna associate with them after what has been revealed about their legends/vets and Bschar.

Do you feel that the reasons presented by TCP and TBV to terminate the alliance were justified and measured?

Megha: Everyone in the community will have their own opinion about the current situation, which is fine. People in other armies are doing whats best for them. Terminating the alliance between TCP N TBV was there call to make, at the end of the day were all CPA to relive our child memories. Im not going to let my army get effect by terminating alliance, we will grow and create a stronger bond with new allies to be created.

How is your army’s diplomacy moving on after the recent events?

Echo: We’ve never really been an army with many allies, and I’ve found armies like VT, and others to be fruitful even if their numbers are smaller than DCPs

Aucraia: We are doing well with our current allies, specially TCP, which I feel we are closer to now.

Megha: DCP will always make a comeback, giving it time, the dedication that is needed. Everyone working as a team to make a true change and impact. Take it day by day, anything is possible. After all DCP is a family and we all stick together thru the tough times. At this given time we focus on us. DCP FOREVER AND DCP ALWAYS :orangeheart~1:

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Echo: I still don’t really hold any grudges towards DCP or ben for that matter, but ben does need to understand that actions have consequences. I hope he understands.

Aucraia: DCP doesn’t have standing kitty, so we are objectively better

Megha: There is nothing further that i want to add besides, FEAR THE SHIELD :orangeshield:

In conclusion, it appears that the Templars and the Vanguards are confident of undertaking this decision. They have firm faith that their decision may bring about a change in their new political opponent. On the other hand, the Doritos are determined to seek growth and new alliances. Do you think the armies in question will find new alliances soon? What is your take on the present situation?
