As war rages on, a new form of battle has hit the army community. Today, we will delve into a more in-depth analysis of the VT vs. DCP diss tracks.
In response to the recent controversies surrounding the Doritos of Club Penguin, the Void Troops quickly acted by declaring war on the 31st of May. After a no-show battle from the Doritos, shortly before their next, leader BscharBach2 announced the release of a track, titled “Can’t Lose” by his close friend and collaborator, DizzyNick. After another battle, the Void Troops would respond the same day, with Kyle104 announcing the release of “F*CK DCP.”
Both tracks would include profanity and take shots at each other’s armies. Void Troops’ track primarily includes more personal disses and more army references, whereas the Dorito track has minimal personal references, being more of a standard rap song with minor shots. Following the release of both tracks, the Void Troops would witness multiple no-show battles from the Doritos, except for one battle, which the Doritos attended.

Following the releases, Club Penguin Armies conducted an exclusive interview with community members to find out the community’s perspectives on the diss war between the two armies.
Which diss track was more effective?
Phoebe, Army of Club Penguin:i personally enjoyed the 2nd one entitled ‘f*ck dcp”. the beat was hard
T_T, Rebel Penguin Federation: the vt one was a proper disstrack honestly, bschars track kept straying away from actually shitting on cpa people and just had some random ass verses in-between everything., musically i really didn’t like the f*ckass hyperpop beat bschar had going but the vocals were at least clear & sounded professional, for vt it was the inverse, i liked the beat but only boras’ part sto od out to me, and i really couldn’t even hear alu over the beat bro LMAO
Doopus, Community Member: I’m not the biggest DCP fan, but hearing the diss track that BScharbach2 and DizzyNick made is MUUUUUUUUCH more listenable than the one from Void Troops (alucard WHY), but in terms of effectiveness, the latter definitely wins since most of DizzyNick’s diss was genuinely just made to be catchy over be an actual diss (which is attributable to the lack of disses in the song).
History, Community Member: I prefer the void troops one, due to the fact all 3 people contributed largely in terms of writing lyrics etc.
Satchmo, Reporter: bens diss track was by far more effective as it gained a response from VT. VTs diss track had better lyrics as a whole but the music video in DCPs gave it the edge
Do you have a favorite line from each track?
Phoebe: yes but im not saying it.
T_T: couldn’t diss us yourself so you get this ugly [i can’t say that word] on a track, from the VT one
Doopus: “Call up BIA so they can go beat em” (popular opinion: boras carried HAAAAAARD ⭐ but i mess w/ all of y’all regardless)
History: For Void Troops, I liked the part where Kyle just started to speak in Japanese even though I dont even know Japanese but it probably sounds tuff. Regarding DCP’s diss track, I don’t have a personal favorite due to the fact I barely heard what was DizzyNick talking about.
Satchmo: “slide in their dms b*tch im a penguin” reminded me of the dangers of mopeds within this community. please stay safe and always wear a helmet
What do you prefer? Diss tracks or traditional army posts?
Phoebe: i actually think all the armies need to start doing disstracks wordwide. id especially like to see war declarations be done in this manner
T_T: nah i think they serve a different purpose really, army posts are a lot more serious and are usually just back and forth exposes whereas diss tracks are more just trash talk
Doopus: I’ve always been an advocate for stemming out of traditional Club Penguin norms like battles on CPAB and recruiting on CPPS, so yeah: honestly I love these sort of things just because they’re so innovative and assist in that idea of not having Club Penguin be bound to just one single game, rather extending such a cool community outwards (albeit the context to this isn’t the most joyous/inspiring thing 😭)
History: Depends, if it’s a meme war then yeah, but for actual serious wars, then no.
Satchmo: id rather leaders meet up and box each other in order to settle their differences
Do you think musical combat could overtake wars and battles?
Phoebe: one can dream
T_T: hell no, funny idea though
Doopus: Overtake? Probably not, but as a promotion? Sure. I doubt it’d overtake wars and battles because they’re so ingrained in what Club Penguin Armies is, but nevertheless I still think it’s cool.
History: Obviously yes!!
Satchmo: a music video will never overtake the beauty of a well executed “X” formation
It appears that tensions between the two armies are continuing to rise. We will see more diss tracks from the two? Will musical combat overtake traditional battles? Let us know in the comments!
